It doesn't cause any irritation. I'm absolutely loving the hair products from the same brand. It doesn't remove makeup well. You might eventually get it off if you use multiple cotton pads, but that would be worse than using a regular, more effective remover. This product seems suitable for occasional use when you're wearing minimal makeup or can't do a double cleanse. However, it's not great value for money.
