As a cleansing water enthusiast, I've tried countless brands, one by one. Usually, cleansing waters emphasize gentle, non-irritating formulas, often skipping additives, colorants, and fragrances. However, Jenny House's cleansing water stands out with its rose concept, featuring a lovely rose scent. It's perfect for when you're tired of your everyday cleansing water and want something to lift your spirits. The packaging is adorably pink and beautiful too! Personally, I prefer cleansing waters with a refreshing feel, similar to exfoliating toners, but this product didn't quite hit the mark in that aspect. - cr*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinOct 6, 2021
It doesn't cause any irritation. I'm absolutely loving the hair products from the same brand. It doesn't remove makeup well. You might eventually get it off if you use multiple cotton pads, but that would be worse than using a regular, more effective remover. This product seems suitable for occasional use when you're wearing minimal makeup or can't do a double cleanse. However, it's not great value for money. - ss********Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2021
I tried the special set that includes the full-size product, a mini version, and mini cotton pads. First off, I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging - it's absolutely adorable! It's both lovely and luxurious, so it always puts me in a good mood when I see it. The scent is floral but not overwhelming, just a subtle fragrance that I really like. I'm usually not a fan of floral scents, but this product didn't bother me at all while using it. As for cleansing effectiveness, it struggled a bit with mascara and cushion/foundation. Of course, it's unreasonable to expect too much from a cleansing water, so I'd recommend this product for days when you're wearing light makeup. I found out it's a low pH product, which means it should be suitable for those with super sensitive skin. As I mentioned earlier, don't set your expectations too high for its cleansing power. That's really the only downside... The special set includes cotton pads, and I highly recommend using them together! These cotton pads are incredibly thick and soft, causing no irritation. You only need a small amount, making them very efficient. I can't recommend these cotton pads enough! - je******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityJan 8, 2021
It feels incredibly gentle on the skin. Even when I use the somewhat stiff Costco cotton pads to wipe twice, my skin doesn't turn red or irritated. To be honest, the cleansing effectiveness is just average. Foundation continues to come off even on the second wipe, and there's still some residue on the third. At this point, I wonder if it should be called a toner rather than a cleansing water... - sk****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 16, 2020
It's incredibly gentle. I'm satisfied that it doesn't sting even if it gets in my eyes. There's no skin tightness after use. It removes makeup quite well, even light lip products, so the Jenny House Cleansing Water alone is enough for a simple cleanse. There's not much to dislike... Maybe the brand recognition of Jenny House? Those who know it, know it, but those who don't might not. I worry about what I'd do if it gets discontinued. - zh********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 29, 2020
Skin type: Combination-oily with occasional blemishes and excess sebum production I got to try a sample of the no-wash cleansing water! It's the king of cleansing and contains essence ingredients, so I heard this cleansing water alone is great. It removed makeup well and left my skin incredibly hydrated without feeling dry~ I realized I didn't even need to use a separate cleansing foam! While it removed basic makeup well, it struggled with shimmer eyeshadow. Even after multiple attempts, it didn't completely remove it. There was still some residue, so I had to use a cleansing foam to get everything off completely! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 1, 2020
I highly recommend this product for its gentle and thorough cleansing. It's so effective that on lazy days, I can just use this to cleanse and go to bed without worrying about blemishes! There's not really anything to complain about, except maybe that it's not exactly cheap... haha! - ki****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2020
It doesn't sting my skin and feels quite hydrating. While using this alone leaves me feeling a bit unsatisfied, I love using it for an overall cleanse followed by a cleansing foam. Personally, I found it a bit disappointing for removing eyeliner. It didn't agree with my sensitive eyes, so I tend to use my usual eye makeup remover for that area. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2020
I really appreciated that it had no scent at all, which made it feel even cleaner. I used it with a cotton pad, and even with a quick wipe, it seemed to remove makeup fairly well. The cleansing effectiveness was good enough that on days when I'm tired or feeling extremely lazy, I could just use this product before bed and call it a night. The downside is that while it was less of an issue for me as I have oily skin, those with dry skin might experience deep dryness. Also, I could feel a slight tingling sensation when using it on sensitive areas of my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2020
I love the pleasant scent and how gentle it is on my skin. The fact that it doesn't require double cleansing makes it perfect for carrying around. Those with oily skin might still need to double cleanse when using this product.
