  Pros

  I really appreciated that it had no scent at all, which made it feel even cleaner. I used it with a cotton pad, and even with a quick wipe, it seemed to remove makeup fairly well. The cleansing effectiveness was good enough that on days when I'm tired or feeling extremely lazy, I could just use this product before bed and call it a night.

  Cons

  The downside is that while it was less of an issue for me as I have oily skin, those with dry skin might experience deep dryness. Also, I could feel a slight tingling sensation when using it on sensitive areas of my skin.

  Pros

  First off, everything from the packaging to the product itself is absolutely gorgeous - you can tell they've put a lot of thought into it. The lid is particularly clever, haha! Even the inside of the box is beautiful... it's almost too much! As for performance, the ingredients are top-notch. It removes foundation flawlessly, and even takes care of eyeshadow and mascara. (For super stubborn mascara, using it with a dedicated mascara remover gives perfect results.) Before trying this, I used to use cleansing oil for my face and a separate lip and eye remover. I was skeptical about how well this water-like formula would work - I thought it might only manage to remove a bit of face makeup. But wow, was I wrong! It removes everything so effectively, it's incredible. And there's zero irritation. No tightness, no stinging at all - just leaves your skin feeling hydrated. If you're thorough, you don't even need to rinse with water afterwards, it's that good at cleansing. It's so gentle that skipping the water rinse doesn't leave your skin feeling icky. It's especially convenient that it removes eye makeup so well too - one product does it all! The scent isn't overpowering, just a subtle rose fragrance.

  Cons

  The only downside is that when I finish it and want to repurchase, I've realized it's a bit pricey. Makes me hesitate a bit, sigh.

  Tip

  Make sure to saturate your cotton pad generously before wiping - it works wonders! (I highly recommend using thick, lint-free cotton pads. Avoid thin ones like Silcot.)

  Ingredients💙 First off, I was shocked to learn that many cleansing waters I've been praising don't have the best ingredients. But Jennyhouse's product doesn't contain any harmful components. The box even proudly states it's free from 20 specific harmful ingredients, which really builds trust! Scent💙 It's so close to being unscented, you might wonder if there's any fragrance at all - which I love! It truly feels like you're cleansing with something pure and clean. Those expecting floral or herbal scents might be disappointed, but for me, the lack of fragrance is a big plus. Gentleness💙 When I used it, my skin was a bit sensitive from sun exposure. The cotton pad felt slightly tingly on my cheeks, but nowhere else. So if your skin is sensitive, you might want to be gentle with cotton pad application. I was curious about the no-rinse claim, so after cleansing with Jennyhouse Cleansing Water, I applied my usual skincare without rinsing. Surprisingly, I had no irritation or itchiness the next day! While I wouldn't do this daily, it's perfect for quick makeup touch-ups or those nights when you're too exhausted to do a full routine. Cleansing Effectiveness💙 It removes makeup smoothly and effectively. Since I don't wear heavy makeup, two or three cotton pads were enough for a thorough cleanse. You can see in the photo how well it dissolved my foundation. Those who apply more cushion foundation might see even more product come off. It also easily removed my eyebrow makeup, eyeshadow, and most of my lipstick (though it wasn't completely fresh by the time I cleansed). In terms of cleansing power, it performs similarly to other cleansing waters. Shelf Life💙 Most water-based products last 6 months after opening, but Jennyhouse lasts 12 months! This is a huge plus for me. Since I don't wear heavy makeup daily and alternate between cleansing oil and water, I often ended up wasting product with the 6-month ones. With Jennyhouse, I can use it comfortably without worrying about expiration. Design💙 When I first saw it, I thought it was beautiful! The pink tint and cute cap give it an adorable look. The bottle opening is similar to nail polish remover bottles, which I actually prefer. It allows for more controlled application compared to flip-top bottles that can dispense too much product at once. The attention to detail extends to the packaging - even the inside of the box is nicely designed. While the nail polish remover look might not be for everyone, it's clear they put a lot of thought into the design.

  Cons

  Quantity😭 Given the 12-month shelf life, I wish they offered a larger size. 200ml might not be enough for those who use it generously. It seems designed for convenience and portability rather than long-term use. While it's a bit large for everyday carry, it's perfect for keeping at the office or for travel use when you need to quickly remove makeup.

  Tip

  Using multi-layer cotton pads that can be separated helps save both the cleansing water and cotton pads. I use thick 5-layer pads and separate them into 2-3 thinner ones. Also, since the product has a long shelf life, it would be helpful to mark the opening date on the bottle.

I plan to repurchase this product. I usually don't wear much makeup, just sunscreen, but even then, I use this product on a cotton pad to cleanse my face. Surprisingly, it removes everything effectively without drying out my skin, allowing me to apply skincare products lightly afterward. Highly recommended for combination skin types!

  1. For someone with combination skin + enlarged pores like me, it seems to lack the deep cleansing power to thoroughly clean out the pores. 2. Therefore, if you feel your skin isn't completely clean, you might need to follow up with a foam cleanser for a double cleanse

  As someone who often only applies basic skincare and sunscreen, especially in summer, 1. When I can't wash my face with water, like at the office during lunch break, I use this product on a cotton pad to cleanse my skin 2. In summer, on days when I haven't gone out, and I'm too lazy to wash my face at home, it's perfect for removing excess oil without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight, even without applying additional skincare 3. When traveling, I soak cotton pads with this product and keep them in a ziplock bag. This allows for easy cleansing even in places without water, after which I can reapply sunscreen or other products as needed
