Strangely, the absorption is much worse than the cream. It's very thick and sticky. It really doesn't spread well at all. I wonder what those people who say it has good absorption are looking at? It's unbelievable how thick this is - I've never seen anything like it. After applying, your hands and face feel sticky, but it does absorb over time. With the cream, you're left with a sticky, greasy feeling after a while, but with the emulsion, the stickiness goes away leaving a smooth, slightly oily feel. It's so thick that you might need to mix it with some hydration to spread it. I don't know how anyone uses this on its own. Because it's so thick and hard to spread, I had to use a lot, which caused a lot of little bumps to appear on my skin.
