The Hwahae Testers' pick for those with dry, flaky lips amidst the sea of matte lipsticks! This tint isn't just moisturizing like water, but offers a glossy finish with just the right amount of shine. The color is a perfect blend of pink and red. As a light cool-toned person who usually only suits pink, this is the first red lip product that actually works for me. It doesn't apply too intensely, giving a flattering pink stain. While I'm cool-toned, I think those with deeper undertones would look great in this too. I often just wear lip products without other makeup, and this looks natural even on its own. It's obvious you're wearing a tint, but it doesn't make your lips look disconnected from the rest of your face. The applicator has never been messy. Even when I dispense product to control the amount, it comes out cleanly without dripping. I've used up the whole tube without any issues. While it's definitely moisturizing, it feels like the hydration sits on top of the lips. It's like having moist outer lips but dry inner lips. It doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much, but if you want deep lip hydration, a lip balm is a must! The entire Vivid Shine Tint line leans warm with orange undertones. Number 4 was the coolest among them, but I wish this line had more color variety. It's not a true cool tone, which is a bit disappointing... Though I suppose that could be seen as an advantage too. The scent is reminiscent of strawberry syrup. It might be polarizing - I'm not a fan. Moreover, since fragrance is listed as a caution ingredient, I question whether it was really necessary. This lip tint looks prettier as a gradient than applied full-lip. Due to its glossy finish, you can apply it to the inner part of your lips and blend outwards for a beautiful effect.
