I bought this when my usual Missha Near Skin cream was discontinued. I picked it up during a 1+1 sale. I chose it because it's in a tube, which I find more hygienic than jar packaging, and I thought it might be similar. The formula has a caramel color (I found out it actually contains caramel, though I'm not sure why they added it if it's just for coloring). It spreads easily with a light texture. It's not sticky and provides decent hydration. While this product doesn't contain harmful ingredients, it has a slight minty, tingly sensation when applied. I think it might not provide enough hydration for those with dry skin. I considered trying a different version in the line, but those come in jars, and since this 'Sensitive' version isn't actually sensitive on my skin, I don't feel the need to experiment with other variants. - gj**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 23, 2022
To sum it up, it's a moisturizing cream that's hydrating without feeling heavy! I have sensitive skin that's slightly dry to combination. In winter, my skin gets really dry, so I prefer a richer base skincare routine. The emulsion I used before was moisturizing but had an extremely heavy texture. This one, however, is super hydrating and pleasantly lightweight! I think it'll work great for me all year round, except maybe at the height of summer. The price and quantity... While 50ml isn't a small amount, it seems to run out surprisingly quickly. It would be nice to use fresh products frequently considering the expiration date, but the price makes that a bit challenging. Buying during Missha sales on open markets seems to be the most cost-effective! For areas where I'm concerned about pores, I sometimes use it like a cream sheet mask to avoid excess oiliness, which allows for a more matte finish. - ih*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2022
Missha's masterpiece! Calling all super sensitive skin types with sagging, lifeless complexions - this is for you! This is an absolute must-have that should never be discontinued. Stock up on this lifelong holy grail product! If you notice tiny bumps appearing in your T-zone, it might be due to excess oil. When this happens, try the trendy oil blotting paper technique - just gently dab the T-zone area. You'll be left with incredibly hydrated skin and no redness in sight! - yo********Combination SkinRecommendedNov 1, 2021
I'd rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars. It's decent for oily skin in fall and winter, but I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin in summer. After application, it definitely feels like it's providing hydration. For skin soothing, it works well on days when your skin isn't too oily - when it's dry or lacking moisture. However, at other times, it can feel a bit irritating for oily skin types. After applying, it leaves a thin, slightly oily film on the skin. While this does offer some skin protection, it's not ideal for oily skin types during summer or on hot, humid days. - ks*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 8, 2021
I've been dealing with some redness lately, so I decided to give this a try. It absorbs well and has a nice texture when applied. Most importantly, it seems to calm my skin and even reduce the appearance of redness. There's a slight stickiness after application, which makes me worry that dust might cling to my face if I use it before going out. That's why I only use it before bed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinJun 30, 2021
As someone with sensitive, atopy-prone skin who doesn't usually get major blemishes, I was surprised when unexplained breakouts started popping up recently. The product description promising to gently care for damaged skin, along with rave reviews calling it Missha's masterpiece, led me to purchase it with high hopes. 💚Texture Despite its rich consistency, the finish isn't sticky and feels clean. It creates a firm moisturizing barrier, and amazingly doesn't transfer much after application, allowing the hydration to last longer. 💚Gentle I experienced no burning or itching whatsoever. Considering fragrance, feel, and all other aspects, this might be the mildest cream I've ever used. 💚Suitable for atopic and damaged skin As the seasons changed, I started developing small patches of atopy. When I applied this cream to scratched and damaged atopic areas, it provided excellent moisture and significant soothing effects. It definitely strengthened my skin barrier. 🥲Minimal effect on blemish calming While it was great for caring for overall weakened, reddened skin like atopy, it had no effect on calming facial blemishes. 🥲Not recommended for oily skin When used for several consecutive days or if applied too generously, small pimples started to appear, possibly due to the cream's richness. The oil content might be too much for oily skin types. While it's decent for sealing in previously applied skincare products, it seems to lack competitiveness compared to other products in the market. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2021
As someone with combination sensitive skin, I found this product to be truly excellent. It gave me a soothing sensation on my skin. I can't think of any downsides. It's even better when you catch it on sale - great value for money! - lh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 18, 2021
It's incredibly hydrating! I have blemish-prone skin, but I didn't experience any breakouts. Even though my skin is on the sensitive side, this product worked really well for me! That's why I ended up using about 3-4 bottles!!! While it's moisturizing, it feels a bit heavy. It can feel quite suffocating to use in the summer! Also, I found it inconvenient that it's hard to find in offline stores, and there are only a few online retailers selling it. It's a small tip, but I think it's best to apply multiple thin layers rather than one thick one! There was a time when I applied too much at once, and my skin felt so congested that I had to wash it off and start over. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2021
My rough, flaky cheeks with dead skin cells have calmed down and become soft. It's great because even Physiogel didn't work for me. I bought it as a 1+1 deal and have already used up one jar. With its excellent ingredients, I think it's flawless - unless you have oily skin. Since COVID, my skin seems to produce more oil, so it feels a bit rich. But I don't really consider this a drawback. If it weren't for that, my cheeks would have continued to be rough and irritated. - re********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 7, 2020
The scent is so subtle it's almost unnoticeable, making it comfortable for anyone to use without worrying about fragrance! The tube packaging is great for hygiene. The texture is delightfully bouncy, but it doesn't feel sticky after application, which is fantastic. I have dry skin and was struggling with dryness until recently, but now that's gone! The ingredients are also excellent. I haven't found any downsides yet! I've been using it for about two weeks now.
