I'm not usually someone who scrutinizes the ingredients in shaving foam, so I used it without any issues. I didn't feel like my breakouts got any worse either. The lather was nice and thick, and it worked well.

I went to Olive Young to buy a shaving foam, as I didn't have any. I saw a new package that was on sale, so I bought it. The foam was incredibly soft and fluffy, almost bouncy!! This was a good point.

After buying it, I watched a video about the ingredients in the Directorfile shaving foam, and they didn't seem very good... But when I used it, I didn't really notice anything bad happening. Still, the whole time I was using it, I kept thinking 'I need to finish this quickly', and it left me feeling a bit uneasy. As you readers probably know, Hwahae shows that this product has quite a few harmful ingredients...

If you're worried that the shaving foam is causing skin irritation, and you're considering trying a shaving gel instead, I'd recommend first trying to change your razor or shaving device. While shaving foams are said to cause less irritation, in my opinion, the shaving device itself is more important than the product. (And the condition of your skin's exfoliation) I personally find shaving foam a hassle, so I just use my cleansing foam in the morning, lather it up, and then shave. Switching from Gillette to a Wilkinson Sword Hydro5 has significantly reduced my irritation and breakouts! This may have come across a bit rambling, but I hope it's helpful for someone out there.
