The scent is absolutely delightful! It has a refreshing grapefruit aroma. I started with the body mist and ended up buying the body butter too. After application, there's a lingering oily feeling on the skin. My body is dry, but my face is combination to normal. I bought this body butter solely for the scent - couldn't resist! The cream has a fresh, sweet grapefruit fragrance, but it's closer to a floral scent than pure grapefruit. Personally, I love it. In the jar, it looks firm and dense, but when applied to the body, it spreads smoothly and the fragrance is absolutely divine! The downside is that the ingredients aren't the best. But I knew that when I bought it. I purchased it purely for the scent! So I avoid applying it to sensitive or problematic areas. If you have sensitive skin, think twice before buying! The scent is absolutely amazing! It's the refreshing fragrance I love, instantly lifting my mood. It has great absorption, sinking in lightly and leaving a fresh finish - though this is both a pro and a con. Being so lightweight means it feels a bit lacking in hydration, so if you apply it generously, it can leave an oily residue on the skin, typical of body butters. As you can see in the attached photo, it leaves my palms quite greasy. It might be perfect for light use in summer though. As mentioned above, it's not very moisturizing, and applying too much leaves an oily film, so it's probably not ideal for winter use. More importantly, I noticed it caused itching on certain areas of my skin. I didn't notice anything when applying it to my hands and feet, but after showering, I put some on my forearms and they started itching after a while. At first, I thought 'What's going on?' and gentle scratching seemed to help, but the itching would return shortly after. This continued for quite some time. The next day, I used a different body emulsion and had no issues, so I'm pretty sure it was this product causing the problem. Fortunately, I didn't develop a rash, but it seems to trigger itchiness for me. I checked the ingredients on Hwahae and, contrary to The Body Shop's image, there are quite a few components that can cause allergies or require caution. The scent is so lovely that I've been using it just on my hands and feet, avoiding the rest of my body. But if it's just for the fragrance, I might as well use perfume. I probably won't repurchase this product. Make sure to do a patch test before use, as you might experience itching like I did.

The texture is perfect for quenching thirsty skin. Unfortunately, the fragrance seems to fade quickly. After a few months of use, the fresh scent disappears and is replaced by an unpleasant odor. I love that this butter isn't as thick as others, which makes it easy to apply. The scent is absolutely divine - it's refreshingly citrusy, just my style! After showering, when I go to my room to relax, it's filled with this delightful fresh aroma. My skin feels so hydrated after using it. I used to get a lot of dead skin cells, but this has really improved that issue. My skin tends to crack due to dryness, but this butter has made a noticeable difference. It's a bit on the greasy side. I haven't tried many other body butters, so I'm not sure how it compares, but it does seem to absorb rather slowly. From my experience, the fragrance seems to last quite a while - about a few hours. So if you enjoy a refreshing scent that lingers, and prefer a butter that's not as thick as others, I'd recommend this. It's great for those who like a long-lasting fresh fragrance and a lighter texture compared to traditional body butters.

Personally, I think this might be the best scent among The Body Shop's body butters! Even my mom, who usually gets headaches from fragrances, liked it, and the reactions from others were positive too. Some friends even asked what perfume I was wearing! I bought the small size, but it surprisingly lasted a long time! It feels a bit heavy for summer, so I only used it in winter and late autumn when it's cooler. It lasted me a whole year! The scent doesn't last long at all. Honestly, The Body Shop seems more famous for its fragrances than its functionality, but light, refreshing scents like grapefruit tend to fade quickly. If you don't pat it in well, it doesn't absorb easily and can feel a bit slippery. It does become more refreshing over time, but the absorption is definitely slow. Above all, I was shocked by how poor the ingredients are... They market themselves as a vegan brand with good, eco-friendly ingredients, but this was quite unexpected. Given that the scent doesn't even last long, you might be better off buying a fragrance-free body cream with good ingredients from another brand, and if you really love this scent, consider purchasing a separate perfume instead! The scent is lovely, it absorbs well, and provides great hydration without any stickiness. It's truly excellent! The price is reasonable, and it offers good hydration. There's nothing particularly bad about it. The cost...? Well, at least it lasts a long time. Nothing to add! It's just great all around.

It's the alpha and omega of this product! As a grapefruit enthusiast, I bought it for its refreshing, cool, and sweet aroma! Hydration! I'm someone whose skin cracks like snakeskin and develops white dead skin cells in winter, so moisturizing is crucial for me. This product's hydrating power was excellent! Ingredients! I'm glad I checked the ingredients after finishing the product... I probably wouldn't have used it if I'd known beforehand. There are so many body emulsions with great ingredients these days... Even though the scent I loved is made up of potentially irritating ingredients, I can't complain, but still, the ingredient list is just too... Price! Honestly, it's expensive. It's way too pricey. I wonder if I should be spending this much on a body cream just because I like the scent. I usually buy it abroad or from online duty-free shops! The duty-free price is even cheaper than the sale price, it's really affordable!

The scent is absolutely amazing! It's a true grapefruit fragrance. I also bought a grapefruit-scented body emulsion from another brand, but that one had a sour note to it. The Body Shop's grapefruit scent, however, is purely uplifting without any unpleasant undertones! Maybe it's due to the price difference? Moreover, it's rich and hydrating, which my mom with dry skin absolutely loves! I used to skip applying body lotion after showering because it felt like a chore, but with this one, I actually enjoy putting it on. The lovely scent makes it a mood-boosting experience! If only it were a bit more affordable... It feels like you don't get much product for the price. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the price. Oh! And I bought it at The Body Shop's offline store. They're not very generous with samples... just saying.
