This product works well for dry, sensitive skin. I was looking for a gentle and moisturizing cleansing product for the fall season, and I ended up purchasing this after visiting a Lush store. Scent: The fragrance is soft and subtle, not overbearing. Cleansing power: I use it as my morning and evening second cleanse, and it's just the right amount of cleansing for me. Moisturization: This is the best part. My skin feels moisturized after cleansing, which is important for my dry skin type as most foaming cleansers tend to leave my skin feeling tight. Pros
When I was buying the product, the staff told me that among the Lush cleansers, the Aqua Marina one is the least irritating. I do like the Angels on Bare Skin cleanser, but it does have some exfoliating particles, so it's not completely non-irritating. That's why I decided to try the Aqua Marina, as it contains calamine powder, which seemed to make it less irritating. However, I'm not sure if I noticed a significant effect from using it.
Cons
For me, the fragrance was a bit too strong. Even in the evenings when I would use it right before bed, after applying my other skincare, I could still smell the product, which I didn't really enjoy. Compared to the Angels on Bare Skin, I also found it more difficult and fiddly to use, as you have to mix it with water. Despite the fine texture, it would sometimes stick to my hands and I'd have to wipe it off with a tissue (the staff member demonstrating it in the store had the same issue). The strong adherence, like with the Rosy Cheeks, is not a feature I particularly value, so I don't plan to repurchase this product.

The fragrance is really x100 good! I've been getting skin care treatments, so I was hesitant to use a harsh cleansing product, but this one is gentle yet cleanses thoroughly, and I love it! However, the product becomes a bit soft and mushy when it comes into contact with water, so I make a little ball of it beforehand and use it that way. I would 200% repurchase this after finishing it! Next time, I'll try to buy the bigger tub. Haha

The price is cheap, but having to pre-make little balls of it before using is more of a hassle than I expected.

🐥Texture: It's a clay mask formula that needs to be massaged and rinsed off!! It's so soft and lovely! 🐥Fluffy Finish: When rinsed off, the skin feels so smooth and bouncy! 🐥Irritation: My skin is sensitive, so I couldn't use the Lush cleansers easily. But this product doesn't have the common exfoliating beads of the Lush cleansers, so I immediately got it! The texture is great, and it's non-irritating, which I really liked! 🐥Scent: It's a rose scent, and I love it so much!! It's the kind of scent that makes you feel happy even if you slap your face with roses haha 🐥Redness: I have a lot of redness, but it got much better after using this product! I'm not using it right now, but the redness seems to be slowly coming back.

❌It doesn't rinse off at all!! ❌ I really don't know what to do, the product just doesn't rinse off... Even after scrubbing the hardened clay, the white residue remains until the very end. It's like having a white patch on your face that just won't go away. I tried rinsing with cold water, warm water, and even wiping with a wet wipe, but it still wouldn't disappear, and I had to use another cleansing foam for a second cleanse to finally get it off. The inability to rinse it off gave me acne while trying to remove the redness. That's why I only used it half the time and then just threw it away... ✔️Even after cleansing, my skin was always too dry, but after using this product, it's really amazing - I don't even need to apply basic skincare products anymore as my skin doesn't feel dry at all! It feels like a transparent film has been applied to my skin, almost like a boiled egg's surface! ✔️My skin is very sensitive, so I can't use just any mild product, but since most of the ingredients are natural, there's no irritation, which is great. Any breakouts I had also calmed down while using this!

I am very sensitive...if I use the fermented toner incorrectly, it becomes bumpy, and if I use the peeling pad incorrectly, it becomes all red.... The seasonal skin changes are extremely severe, so I always look for mild products, and I'm very concerned about drying out during cleansing. However, I've been using Aquamarina for 2 years and it's been great. First of all, calamine powder helps with soothing. It's really the best when my skin is sensitive. I hardly wear makeup and use an easy-to-remove sunblock, so I just wipe with cleansing tissues and go straight to this for cleansing without a primary wash. The mud absorbs oil and the fine salt helps regulate the dead skin. So when I rinse it off, the dirt comes out. I think it's because there was some built-up dead skin. It's not always like that, just occasionally, and after that, my skin feels soft. Even without obvious granules like Angels or Herbalism, the fine salt seems to do its job sufficiently. The oil is also well absorbed, so the cleansing power doesn't seem bad to me. The manager at the massage shop I go to said that the mud absorbs oil better than the foaming ingredients in cleansers, so there's no need for a lot of lather. She even said it could potentially be too drying... So you don't need to worry about the cleansing power due to the usage experience.

I'm sure it's similar for everyone, but Lush Korea is too expensive.... They say there are a lot of complaints from Korean people about the seaweed clogging the drain, so they're only using the extracts, but Lush in the UK or Japan has the actual seaweed. Do people in other countries have some special drainage system that doesn't get clogged? That's why I just order it directly. Compared to Angels or Herbalism, it's less moisturizing... The calamine powder leaves a powdery residue after cleansing. At first, I felt like the cleansing wasn't complete because of that, but I've completely adapted to it now. But it may be unpleasant for some people.
Tip
For those who find it drying, mixing in a few drops of oils like jojoba or olive will make it a bit more moisturizing. Wetting your face a little and gently massaging it will help the exfoliation work better...You can leave it on for about a minute, but the salt may sting a bit. You can rinse it off, but you can also just apply it directly to your already wet face and spread it around - this is more convenient for me. When ordering from the UK, it sometimes comes wrapped in seaweed, and the seaweed can get mixed in. The seaweed is slimy, so when you rub it, it just tears apart, so you don't need to worry about the drain. The issue is when it comes with dried seaweed (like nori). I just chop up the nori with scissors and mix it well into the paste. As the paste gets more moisture, the nori gets more and more slimy over time.
