It's truly a miracle worker! ✔️Ingredients Many products marketed as soothing often contain questionable ingredients when you check them on Hwahae. This one, however, doesn't have any of those concerning components, so I can apply it with peace of mind. ✔️Hydration My skin is oily but prone to dehydration, so some products make my skin surface greasy while others leave it feeling dry inside. This one, though, doesn't make my skin oily on the outside, and when I wake up the next morning, I can feel that my skin is still hydrated deep down. It's really fantastic! I received this product as a gift and started using it by chance, but I'm so satisfied because it's much better than I expected! I'm not sure... The price is just average, similar to drugstore serums. It absorbs quickly with a light feel and almost no stickiness. The thin consistency doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It seems to have that distinctive medicinal scent typical of derma products. While I'm not sure about everything else, I'm confident that the exclusion of sensitive ingredients is a fact, so I'm using it with peace of mind. It's said to be suitable for both sensitive and oily skin types simultaneously. The packaging is quite attractive. It's hard to call this a negative point specifically, but being a serum, the volume is rather small. After cleansing, I apply this serum right away, and I'm amazed because it's not the typical serum texture I'm used to! It has an emulsion-like consistency, which I actually prefer, and it feels so hydrating when applied! As for acne calming effects, I'll need to use the whole bottle to know for sure, but I haven't experienced any new blemishes since I started using it! The quantity is a bit disappointing compared to the price... It's been just over a month since I bought it, and there's already so little left. This is the second Dermaplan essence I've purchased. Being formulated for oily skin, it doesn't make my face overly greasy and even helps calm my blemishes. It doesn't feel sticky at all, which is really great. My skin tends to get oily in summer, so I often skip skincare before makeup. But that's not good for my skin, so I've been looking for a non-sticky base product. This one's perfect! Also, the container has a dropper-style applicator, which seems quite hygienic. To be honest, it seems this product is meant more for nighttime care and soothing rather than as a pre-makeup base. I'm not sure about its soothing effects though. One downside might be the small amount - you could use it up in less than two months. It's not bad at all. Those with combination dehydrated skin should give it a try!
