Wow, I didn't expect much, but this is really great! I've been a nomad searching for a soothing mask since I couldn't feel any calming effects from that famous Medi-something tea tree pack, but this one is worth every penny! The sheet: - It's soft and thin, adhering well to the skin, giving a sensation that it'll be effective. - When I first opened it, I thought it might be small, but surprisingly it's wide and large enough to cover my whole face. - I like masks that cover down to the end of my chin, and while this one does cover the chin, it doesn't quite reach the area just below. The essence in the mask: - It's watery, and when I first opened it, there was a black pepper scent, but the mask itself doesn't smell bad. - There's plenty of essence, so after applying the mask, you can pat the excess on top to keep it moist until you remove it. The Step 2 Ampoule (Calamine): This is where the magic really happens! I thought there might not be enough calamine, but I was wrong... I applied it all over my face and put a thicker layer on areas that needed more soothing. I was planning to write this review after seeing the results, but the effects were so quick I had to share! It seriously calms your skin within an hour. Honestly, the Step 2 ampoule doesn't smell great, but I can confidently say it's worth enduring for the results. Those of you worried about blemishes know the feeling - you'd do anything to make them go away! I can definitely put up with the smell for these results. I really wish I had taken before photos because all the redness that was about to surface completely subsided. Even existing blemishes went down. There's plenty of product to apply generously. If you've never seen results from soothing masks before, give this one a try! Oh, and just to note, the Step 2 ampoule has a creamy, viscous texture. There aren't many downsides, but here are a few things to note: First, it seems like the ingredient list on Hwahae only shows the mask ingredients. I read the ingredients for Step 1 and Step 2 on the back of the package, and the Step 2 ampoule contains fragrance. It feels like they might have added it to cover up an originally stronger fishy smell. When you first apply the ampoule, you don't immediately smell the fishiness. Instead, there's a cool scent like men's skincare, but as it absorbs, a fishy smell lingers. Maybe it's the... afterscent? To be honest, I didn't take off a star because of the ingredients. I deducted it because of the mask itself. I feel like the effects come more from the ampoule than the sheet mask. It's almost like paying 3,500 won just for the ampoule. Also, after applying the ampoule, your hair sticks to your face... it's quite tacky. Be cautious if you don't like that feeling! There's enough ampoule that you could probably use it the next day too, but I worry it might not be as good once it's been exposed to air. So instead, I apply a thin layer all over my face, then put a thicker layer on problem areas. It calms down right away! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2020
As someone with oily skin, I always avoided sheet masks because they'd cause blemishes. But when my skin suddenly went haywire, I found myself browsing cosmetics stores and got persuaded to buy this. Honestly, it's fantastic for calming blemishes! I woke up to find all those stubborn spots had subsided. I'm so thrilled that I had to leave a review. If your skin is acting up, you absolutely must try this! Maybe it's because I have oily skin, but it felt too moisturizing and rich for my liking. I wasn't particularly impressed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 14, 2019
I didn't expect much, but it surprisingly delivers on its promises. It calms newly formed blemishes effectively. For a soothing mask, it feels surprisingly hydrating. With its multi-step process and the addition of an ampoule, it feels like I'm getting double the benefits. It seems to dry out rather quickly. While the sheet doesn't cause any irritation, it doesn't feel like it holds much essence. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 15, 2019
Among all the blemish masks on the market, this one undoubtedly takes the top spot. It's faster and more effective at treating blemishes than products from brands like Medi*, Daja*, and Ai*. This is truly a holy grail! I'm stocking up on this. I really want to recommend it. Please, read the reviews...!!! ❤Blemish Solution Mask♥ There are 3 types available: I bought the [Calamine] for early-stage spot care and soothing, and the [Sulfur] for soothing and intensive spot treatment. First, apply the sheet mask for 15 minutes, then remove it and let the essence absorb. Next, apply a thick layer of the ampoule and gently pat it in. 🌺 Skin condition before use (October 14): Sebum explosion under the chin with one large, hard pimple. Red pimples on the nose, painful pre-eruption pimples beside the nose, yellow mature pimples on the cheeks, and red pimples on the forehead - all extremely painful to touch. 🌺 Skin condition after use (October 15) Miraculous results!!! Woke up feeling a glow on my skin and couldn't feel the huge pimple on my chin. Huh..? What's going on? I was shocked when I looked in the mirror! Even the massive pimple beside my nose had significantly reduced. I can't express how happy I am! I cried when I saw how much my blemishes had improved in the mirror that morning. It felt like I'd found the light at the end of the acne tunnel!!! If Calamine is this good, I wonder how effective Sulfur will be. I felt like I could finally escape from blemishes! It seems more effective on inflammatory acne than on small bumps, and it's excellent for calming large pimples. This product really works for me, so I'm 100% going to repurchase! 1. While there seems to be plenty of essence in the mask, the sheet doesn't seem to hold it well. It feels like it dries quickly. Make sure to apply the remaining essence in the package to your skin - don't waste it! 2. The ampoule is extremely sticky. When you pat it onto your skin, it clings like natto. 3. The ampoule has a fishy smell. It smells a bit like raw oysters and has a subtle odor of fish left out of water. 4. The price is $3500.. I'll need to stock up during sales. After removing the sheet mask after 15 minutes, don't rub your skin - gently pat to absorb the essence. If you don't absorb it properly at this stage, the ampoule step won't work well. The ampoule is very sticky and may pill due to its ingredients, so from the first step, carefully pat to absorb. For the ampoule step, absolutely do not rub - just gently pat and tap to slowly absorb it! - dm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 31, 2019
✓ Thin, non-irritating mask sheet The sheet itself wasn't irritating at all, which can sometimes happen with other masks. It's super thin, allowing for excellent adherence to the face. ✓ Beneficial effects 1. Cooling sensation After removing the mask, I noticed a pleasant cooling effect that helped reduce facial heat. 2. Soothing properties Even with just one use, I could see both cooling and calming effects. Post-application, there was a visible reduction in redness. ✓ Generous amount of serum I expected a runny consistency, but it was more cream-like. The ample amount of serum allowed for a thick application all over the face. + Post-use, my skin felt firm with a sensation of being deeply hydrated - this was my favorite part! About 30 minutes after applying the serum, when I touched my face, I noticed the serum and cream were balling up, almost like dead skin cells. It seems the pilling occurred due to mixing with powder and other skincare products. While the description mentioned a powdery feel might be noticeable, experiencing it was quite surprising. Before applying the serum after removing the mask, gently pat it in with your middle and ring fingers for irritation-free absorption. To minimize pilling, try to avoid your face touching other surfaces until it's fully absorbed. I'd recommend using this at night before bed rather than as a light morning treatment. - m_******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2019
This product is incredibly helpful for removing dead skin cells and soothing blemishes. It's particularly amazing at calming active breakouts! The downside is that the ampoule quantity seems a bit insufficient. The formula tends to form small clumps even when applying a small amount, making it difficult to pat in for absorption. Instead, you need to almost lay it on top of the skin. I wish there was a way to improve this aspect. First off, the sheet mask is extremely thin and soft, so it might tear easily during use. Handle it with care. As for the ampoule, since it's prone to clumping, try applying it after using the mask, thinking of it as layering rather than absorbing. After some time, cleanse your face with toner, then follow up with an emulsion or cream for best results. - ch*********Normal SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2019
Bought with my own money and here's my honest review! Reviewer info: I'm a 14-year-old middle school student. My skin tone is neutral, leaning towards a deep undertone. I don't have acne, but I occasionally get blemishes. My facial skin is slightly dry, but not severely so. My body skin is extremely dry with severe atopic dermatitis. Sheet: The sheet was incredibly thin and semi-transparent. Despite this, it felt soft without any tingling sensation. Usually, thin sheets can be a bit irritating, but this one sat comfortably on my skin without any irritation, which I really appreciated. Effects: I started getting blemishes even though I hadn't changed my skincare routine. So I rushed to Innisfree, and luckily they had a Trouble Solution mask! I bought the one for early-stage spots since that's what I was dealing with. After using it overnight, I definitely noticed my blemishes had calmed down by the next morning. Ampoule: There's an ampoule included. You apply it after using the sheet mask, and I think it really helped in soothing my blemishes. I'm not a fan of sticky textures, and the ampoule was a bit tacky. I know ampoules tend to be sticky, but I think a lighter, more gel-like consistency would have been even better.
