As expected from a popular Trader Joe's product, it absorbs well and moisturizes effectively without feeling sticky. The size is quite generous too (I compared it with other well-known hand creams). While there's nothing particularly inconvenient yet, I suspect the packaging might be difficult to squeeze when I'm nearing the end of the product... - st****Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 7, 2025
Advantages: - Pleasant and inoffensive scent - Decent value for money - Cute packaging Disadvantages: - Hydration is less effective than expected - Heavy to carry around - Not particularly worth seeking out... Other Korean hand creams are more impressive It might be worth trying once, but it's not a must-have - hy*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 23, 2025
Despite its rich texture, it absorbs well and quickly with a moisturizing feel. It's perfect for dry hands in winter. Rather than an artificial fragrance, it has a subtle shea butter scent. I liked everything about it. There's nothing particularly disappointing. It would be great if it were sold at a more affordable price domestically. - ar******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 28, 2024
I discovered this brand when I received it as a gift. As someone who's always using hand cream, I typically have three or four in rotation, but this one has the richest texture, which I love. In the dry winter months, thinner formulas just don't cut it - you can almost feel how thick this one is just by looking at the photo! What's great is that it doesn't leave a greasy residue, so I don't hesitate to touch things after applying it. The hydration level is just right - I'm quite satisfied with it. While the scent is strong, it has a refreshing quality that I lean towards liking. The volume is generous, and the price is reasonable for the amount you get. I'm not a fan of the tube material - it tends to crack with prolonged use, which I don't like. As you might expect from a foreign product, the fragrance is quite intense, which could be hit or miss for some people. I didn't realize it at first, but apparently the ingredients aren't great. Personally, I'm not too picky about what I use on my hands, so it's okay for me. For long-lasting hydration, apply it immediately after washing your hands, and try adding a drop or two of face oil when you apply it. - da*****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 15, 2024
I received this as a gift and it's pleasantly gentle. The subtle fragrance is quite nice too. It's inconvenient to squeeze out, so I'm considering buying a tube squeezer to keep on my desk for easier use. - ce*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 25, 2024
❄️Review from someone who lives with hand cream 365 days a year due to dry hands❄️ Quick take: Hydration is decent, but not sure about the 'Ultra Moisturizing' claim as per the product name Hydration: 4/5 Absorption: 4.5/5 Finish: 5/5 (not sticky) Lasting hydration: 4.5/5 Scent: 4/5 (powdery shea butter fragrance) Price: 5/5 (affordable for 85g) Repurchase intention: Yes Not suitable for severely chapped hands in the dead of winter. Seems like it would work well year-round for people with normal hands, but for someone with extremely dry hands like me, it's probably best used in seasons other than winter. - jh********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 17, 2024
A more affordable alternative to L'Occitane hand cream. The fragrance is absolutely delightful - subtle yet surprisingly long-lasting. Contains shea butter, which might explain why it's so moisturizing. Absorbs well into the skin quickly. Generous amount of product. Product tends to accumulate around the opening, requiring regular cleaning. That's the only drawback I can think of. - ja*********Combination SkinDead Skin CellsNov 6, 2024
The scent is mild. The absorption isn't bad either. It sinks in quickly too. However, I'm not particularly inclined to recommend it. In my experience, hand creams with questionable ingredients feel moisturizing for a moment but quickly leave skin rough, and this one fits that description perfectly. It looked like it would have only good ingredients, so I applied it, but when I felt those suspicious components, I immediately checked on Hwahae. - id********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 23, 2024
I immediately stocked up on this after the store staff recommended it. It has a pleasant shea butter scent and provides great hydration! I thought Trader Joe's had a reputation for safe ingredients, so I expected this to be good. Unfortunately, it's quite disappointing. - yo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2024
If I were to buy this while traveling, I'd give it 5 stars. It reminds me of L'Occitane's Shea Butter Hand Cream in terms of value for money. While it's often recommended as a gift, I'd slightly discourage that due to its bulky size and weight. The only letdown with hand creams in this type of packaging is the lid. Buying it through direct overseas purchase? Not really worth it. The value for money drops significantly.
