I managed to somewhat restore my hair with this product after a bad salon experience left it fried. My hair reaches my waist, but the middle section was extremely frizzy, making styling difficult. Applying just enough to prevent clumping and blow-drying downwards made it appear straight. Though still frizzy to the touch, it looked better. After using it for over a year, my hair has significantly improved. It was so damaged I thought I'd have to cut it all off, but this product brought it back to a manageable level of damage. That's proof it works! Now I've cut off the damaged parts and use this for daily care on my healthier hair. Previously, my ends would turn brown or split due to lack of nutrients, but applying this product mainly to the ends and distributing the rest evenly has my hair growing without any damage. There's a limit to how much it can repair severely damaged hair. While long-term use shows great results, complete restoration seems challenging. Also, if you don't control the amount well, it can make your hair sticky. You'll learn to adjust the quantity through experience over time. For best results, apply a moderate amount like an essence and let it dry naturally, rather than applying and wiping off. Essence or oil products with animal-derived ingredients might make your hair feel soft immediately, but can accelerate damage in the long run. Think of it like applying oil for tanning at the beach - it makes your skin more susceptible to burning. Be especially careful during hot summer months when your hair is more prone to heat damage. - lo*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2020
I bought this product from a hair salon. Interestingly, it can be used as a treatment, daily care (essence), and for hair styling. I mainly use it as a treatment, but on weekends, I apply it generously to dry hair for a home care routine. The effects are definitely noticeable. I've been stocking up and using it regularly! I learned from Hwahae that some ingredients have a slight risk factor. Also, the scent... it's coconut, which I like, but I've seen some people around me who find it overpowering and dislike it. I guess this aspect will vary from person to person. Still, I think I'll keep using it. It works wonders on damaged hair! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2020
I bought this product on my hairstylist's recommendation. It's my first time using a leave-in treatment, and it's incredibly convenient and effective. On busy mornings, after shampooing and before blow-drying, I apply a small amount. It revives damaged hair and brings curls back to life. Apply just a small amount to the damaged ends of your hair. On the first day, not knowing any better, I squeezed out a coin-sized amount and applied it all over my hair. I ended up with greasy, flat hair all day long. - cj********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityOct 11, 2019
There's nothing good to say about this product. I used it twice and then shoved it in a corner. The salon gave it to me to try, but it was just like any other drugstore treatment. I wonder why... It contains methylparaben, fragrance, and numerous moderately risky ingredients. Make sure to wash this out after applying. Despite being called a leave-in treatment, it just leaves your hair feeling dusty and sticky. When the salon applied it once, even cut hair strands stuck to my head, so I ended up going back to rewash my hair. - kd*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 4, 2019
I realized I hadn't left a review after requesting to try this product! I switched to this from Silk Therapy. Before using it, my hair would get tangled and was difficult to comb through, even with my fingers. After applying this, my hair becomes much more manageable. The effect lasts not just right after application, but until the next wash. While the shine diminishes slightly when my hair dries, it still lasts much longer and looks better compared to other essences. I definitely plan to repurchase - in fact, I'm already on my second bottle! It's not widely available, so you might need to search for it. I bought mine through a group order. Also, the coconut scent was a bit overwhelming at first. I got used to it over time and now find it quite pleasant. If you're sensitive to fragrances or have strong preferences, you might want to keep this in mind before purchasing. While it's said to work on both dry and wet hair, I find it more effective when applied to damp hair. - os*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2019
Improves split ends, calms frizz, and leaves hair shiny and soft. Even better, it can be used like a treatment - apply after shampooing, leave for 2-3 minutes, then rinse out for damaged hair care. For daily use, you can apply it after towel-drying without rinsing. It's versatile enough to use on dry hair before or after heat styling too. I've probably used over 2/3 of the bottle because it's so multi-functional! I thought the scent was a bit strong, and sure enough, the fragrance was the issue. Otherwise, I'm generally satisfied with everything else!
