As a dry-skinned person, I'm more than satisfied with it. ❗️ Skin Type As someone with oily skin, my makeup tends to break down the most on my face. However, I don't need to retouch my base makeup that often. ✔️ Application Even though it's called 'Velvet', it doesn't apply dryly or thickly. The application is the same as the Radiance version. ✔️ Absorption I use a spatula to spread it evenly, then dab it with a makeup sponge. Despite being a drier formula, it absorbs well into the skin. Though it does eventually settle into my pores, no foundation can completely avoid that. I actually prefer a foundation that breaks down nicely. A quick dab with the puff is enough to make it look fresh again. ✔️ Hydration Unlike the Radiance, the Velvet version doesn't make my skin look overly dewy over time. But drier skin types may find it a bit too matte. ✔️ Adhesion When applied with a spatula and patted with a makeup sponge, the adhesion is excellent. ❓ Volume The 35ml size is sufficient. I bought two during a Missha sale, so I should be able to use them up before expiration. ❓ Purchase & Price I bought it for 23,000 won during a Missha 1+1 promotion.
ConsIt's not that different from the Radiance version. I had the previous one and the differences aren't drastic.
TipApplying it thinly with a spatula and then patting it with a makeup sponge helps achieve a beautiful skin-like finish.
