It gives a soft and smooth skin expression. The shade 19 is not overly bright. It has good spreadability and is affordable when on sale, which is great.
Cons
It may be a bit matte for those with dry skin. Other than that, I don't see any particular downsides.

The summer was really nice, but as it transitions into winter, it seems a bit dry. There's no stickiness or anything like that, but the skin expression is very soft and fluffy. It adheres thinly and closely, so the lasting power is really good. It stays well even after 8 hours. (Oily T-zone, combination skin)
Cons
The ingredients are really not great :( I think I'll look into other products next time
Tip
I bought it during a sale, one for one

The adhesion is good and the lasting power is also great! It covers blemishes well and it's a light foundation!
Cons
I bought shade 19 because I thought my face was a bit pale, but my face ended up looking too white and floating... And since it's a matte product, there are times when my skin looks cracked.
Tip
Shade 19 is really bright, so I recommend testing it on the back of your hand before buying! And I recommend this matte product for those with oily skin or those whose face tends to get shiny after applying makeup!

I've been using Missha Radiance Foundation for almost 5 years, and then switched to Velvet. As a dry-skinned person, I'm more than satisfied with it. ❗️ Skin Type As someone with oily skin, my makeup tends to break down the most on my face. However, I don't need to retouch my base makeup that often. ✔️ Application Even though it's called 'Velvet', it doesn't apply dryly or thickly. The application is the same as the Radiance version. ✔️ Absorption I use a spatula to spread it evenly, then dab it with a makeup sponge. Despite being a drier formula, it absorbs well into the skin. Though it does eventually settle into my pores, no foundation can completely avoid that. I actually prefer a foundation that breaks down nicely. A quick dab with the puff is enough to make it look fresh again. ✔️ Hydration Unlike the Radiance, the Velvet version doesn't make my skin look overly dewy over time. But drier skin types may find it a bit too matte. ✔️ Adhesion When applied with a spatula and patted with a makeup sponge, the adhesion is excellent. ❓ Volume The 35ml size is sufficient. I bought two during a Missha sale, so I should be able to use them up before expiration. ❓ Purchase & Price I bought it for 23,000 won during a Missha 1+1 promotion.
Cons
It's not that different from the Radiance version. I had the previous one and the differences aren't drastic.
Tip
Applying it thinly with a spatula and then patting it with a makeup sponge helps achieve a beautiful skin-like finish.

This foundation matches my fair skin tone well.
Cons
I don't have any particular issues. I have oily skin, so I adjust the tools I use and control oil levels based on my skin condition and the season.

Even after applying makeup in the morning, my face gets oily after a short while, so I tried purchasing this product. While it does apply matte, I'm not sure if there are any really great benefits to it. (To be honest, I'm not sure if there are any major positives to this product...)
Cons
1. I don't think I can solely rely on this product alone. When I mixed this product with my existing Missha Radiance Vanilla product (60% Radiance/40% Velvet), the skin on my chin felt a bit rough. Anyway, that's why I only apply the Radiance product on my chin without mixing the two. 2. Whether it's from mixing the two products or not, my skin still ends up looking shiny and oily! I personally think this is something no cosmetic can prevent. 3. My skin also feels heavy and stuffy.
Tip
As mentioned above, I'm not using this product alone, but mixing a small amount into a non-matte product! Even so, I can still feel a bit of a matte effect...
