With the cold, dry weather and daily mask-wearing, my skin's been getting more sensitive and parched by the day. My skin doesn't agree with toners, so I've been sticking to cream-based skincare. One day, my face felt so tight, and I even developed redness and blemishes. Knowing I had to do something, I picked this product because mugwort is known for its soothing properties. I loved that it had a single main ingredient, which gave me confidence. The subtle fragrance was pleasant too. Though the price made me hesitate, I snagged it during a sale at a great value. As a first essence applied right after cleansing, I saw amazing results on the first and second days. My deep dryness disappeared, and my skin felt more hydrated. The redness vanished, a large blemish on my chin calmed down, and even the small bumps on my forehead improved. But why only 3 stars, you ask? On the third day, blemishes popped up in places I've never had issues before. Oddly enough, my forehead, which used to have lots of tiny bumps, became smooth. What's going on? I wondered if I'd been too generous with application because I developed cystic acne in places I've never had it before. So I tried using less the next day, but... well, it was time to say goodbye to this product too. Even if my skin feels tight, I'll stick to my usual cream. I'm giving it 3 stars because it did calm my skin for two days. Lately, I feel disheartened that I can't seem to find products that truly work for my super sensitive skin. Caution: As this contains a single main ingredient, those with very sensitive skin should definitely do a patch test first.
