  It absorbs just like Johnson's Baby Lavender lotion. It's lightweight for dry skin types to apply.

Often, inexpensive emulsions fall short in terms of scent or application, but this one is quite satisfying without those concerns.

  However, a drawback of this product is that its lasting power is shorter than expected. While the skin feels moisturized and soft initially, that hydration seems to disappear quite quickly. This could be particularly noticeable for those with dry skin. In very dry weather, like winter, you might need to reapply several times as the moisturizing effect is not strong enough to last. Also, the emulsion is quite thin, so you need to apply more for continuous hydration, which can be a bit inconvenient. The fragrance, though pleasant at first, fades rapidly, which might disappoint those who enjoy a longer-lasting scent.   Having had atopic dermatitis when I was young, my skin tends to be dry, so an emulsion was always essential after showering. After a friend recommended this emulsion, I've settled on Johnson's for my body care routine! I alternate between the pink and purple versions, and I love them both. The fragrance is pleasant, the hydration is good, and it absorbs well without any stickiness, leaving a light feel on the skin.

  Honest review from my own purchase: I've been using this for about a month before leaving this review. My body emulsion ran out, so while browsing offline stores, I tested it on the back of my hand. The nostalgic scent made me decide to buy it. The familiar fragrance is satisfying. The initial application feels nicely moisturizing, and the price is reasonable too.

  Cons

  In my memory, Johnson's emulsion used to have a heavier cream texture and a stronger scent than it does now. It's become so light that I looked into it and apparently there were some ingredient issues. Even when applied to the back of my hand, it feels a bit dry. It's too light for the body - you only feel the hydration initially. It might not be enough for deep dryness, winter use, or very dry skin. My face is oily, but my arms and legs are particularly dry with dead skin cell issues, so I had to apply multiple layers. As the weather is getting warmer, I'm planning to use it well during summer.

  Tip

  For autumn and winter, this alone isn't sufficient. It's essential to layer oil on top of the emulsion.

  The packaging reminds me of a perfume I used when I was young! It's easy to find and relatively affordable. The product absorbs well into the skin.

  Cons

  Perhaps due to the controversy surrounding Johnson's Baby cosmetic ingredients, it doesn't have that nostalgic scent anymore. It's challenging to use up the entire emulsion. When you think there's about 13% left, you need to pump three times just to get enough for one application. The cap is also extremely difficult to open.

  Tip

  However, I chose familiarity over its drawbacks because it's affordable, easily accessible, and a product I've known since childhood.

  Revisiting Johnson's Baby Pink Emulsion after many years since childhood brings back memories.   Pros

  During the dry autumn and winter months, I make sure to apply body emulsion regularly. I prefer lightweight formulas as heavier ones can leave a residue that feels uncomfortable when putting on clothes. This one has a nice application, a fresh finish, and absorbs well while providing excellent hydration.

  Cons

  As someone sensitive to fragrances, I didn't particularly love the scent. However, it's not so off-putting that it would prevent me from using the product!
