Incredibly moisturizing and applies with a transparent orange-coral tint. When used with Sushi Kiss, it creates a beautiful salmon-colored lip. Apply Coco Flash 60 first, then dab Sushi Kiss in the center for a stunning look without emphasizing dead skin cells. It's pretty on its own, but it looks even more beautiful when mixed with a nude lipstick. Rouge Coco Balm Flash 60 + Sushi Kiss is more coral-like and resembles fresh salmon, even prettier than Cha Cha Tint. It creates a translucent salmon color that you can't achieve with regular lipsticks. Swatches: Chanel on upper wrist, Sushi Kiss on lower wrist. - ha******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2022
Absorbs beautifully, leaving lips incredibly moisturized without emphasizing any dry patches or dead skin cells The price point is quite high, and the longevity is disappointing. It comes off immediately when drinking water For a matte finish, you need to layer it with other lipsticks. It would be perfect if it had the staying power of MAC lipsticks - 20******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessJan 12, 2022
I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to redness. My skin is particularly vulnerable to alcohol-based products. Pores are my biggest concern. What I love most about this product is how smoothly it applies, leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The color has a slight pinkish tint that might only suit those with very fair complexions. Oh no! After using this, my lips started to swell slightly. It's not compatible with my skin at all. For reference, my lips also get extremely puffy and uncomfortable when I use YSL Volupté. I simply can't wear this product. - no********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 11, 2021
Well, you're getting a 1 out of 10 from me! Chanel lipsticks are officially out of my life from now on. Oh Chanel, where's your conscience? I've been trying to use it for about 3 days straight, but the dead skin cells make it impossible to apply. When you swipe it on, the pigment gets caught between the flakes, leaving unsightly patches. The scent is awful too - it smells like dated makeup. Even the packaging looks cheap once you take away the Chanel logo. It's giving me major 'mature lady' vibes. Here's the breakdown: ☆ Clings terribly to dead skin cells ☆ Packaging looks cheap without the logo ☆ Quality-wise, YSL's Volupté Shine is superior ☆ Color payoff is decent ☆ Fragrance is subpar Oh Chanel... I've been eyeing the Chanel Coco Flash for ages and finally took the plunge. With the new Coco Bloom release, I thought 'why not?' and went for the Flash. After considering several shades, I chose Beat - supposedly the best for warm skin tones. Color: Keep in mind that the color can vary depending on your natural lip tone. On me, it leans more coral with a hint of orange rather than pink. I'll update with lip swatches later. The first application was surprisingly sheer and transparent - quite different from YSL Rouge Volupté Shine, which is more opaque and vibrant. Chanel Coco Flash applies thinner and more subtly. However, after actually wearing it, I found it clings to dead skin cells and is tricky to apply. It doesn't look flattering if you have a lot of lip lines. For a pretty application, you need to prep your lips with balm all day to keep them moisturized. Moisture: It glides on smoothly with a hydrating feel and no stickiness. It didn't emphasize flakes or settle into lines initially. I prefer a thin application, so I didn't experience any 'yogurt lips' effect. But after wearing it, I noticed it does emphasize wrinkles, cling to dead skin, and can even cause flaking. The texture and moisture level reminded me slightly of Bobbi Brown's Lip Tint. The formula is quite soft, so it might melt easily in summer. Comparison with other lipsticks I own: -YSL Rouge Volupté Shine 82 Orange Crepe: Glides on smoothly, moisturizing with high color payoff. Need to apply carefully with a bare face. -YSL Volupté Plump-In-Color 5 Delirious Orange: Like Volupté Shine but more vibrant. ☆☆YSL The Slim Sheer Matte 103 Orange Provocant: Apparently I'm an orange lip fan? My collection is all orange. YSL's orange has more pink than expected. Sheer Matte has a silky, thin texture. Unique. -YSL Tatouage Couture 13 True Orange: Again, YSL's orange turns pinker over time. Not worth the price. Need to apply carefully to avoid emphasizing flakes. Thin, delicate application for gradient effect. -Hera Sensual Powder Matte Pampas: Terrible. Flake city. Slides around. ☆MAC Powder Kiss Liquid Moxie Mash: Powdery blurred lip look, long-lasting but transfers badly on masks. Bleeds a lot (almost like a moisturizing lipstick). -MAC Tendertalk Lip Balm Play With Me: Awful. Not moisturizing. True hot pink. -MAC See Sheer: Sigh... Terrible scent. Slides off easily. Awful to use. -Espoir Couture Lip Tint Shine 05 Chilling Chilling: More like a lip gloss than a tint. Clumps. Moisture doesn't last. 'Yogurt lips' effect. Strawberry milk color. -Lilybyred Glassy Layer Fixing Tint 01 Cheeky Peach: Why did I buy this? After the Chilling Chilling disaster, I was desperate and bought something similar. Well, it's less pale. Higher saturation so no 'yogurt lips'. But nothing special about it. ☆☆☆Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint Bare Raspberry: Must-have. Can't live without it. Looks great with or without makeup. Develops into a pretty, subtle stain. Really moisturizing. Great to use. ☆The ones I don't have listed are ones I rarely use and make me want to shake my past self for buying. We'll see if Chanel Coco Flash becomes a staple or not. The case is awful. What is this...? Without the Chanel logo, it screams 'mature lady'. I'll update after using it for a month. The scent is terrible. It clings to dead skin cells like crazy. This lipstick has an unusually severe issue with dead skin cells. YSL Volupté Shine doesn't do this, but this one settles into every little lip line. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2021
I received this as a gift from a friend, and it's so soft with a beautiful glow. The color is a pretty coral with a drop of orange, subtle yet lovely. Even with one application, it spreads evenly. Though the price is a bit wicked, it's a product you'll cherish and use sparingly. In these mask-wearing times, its intense cleansing power seems out of place. One swipe and you're left wondering, 'Where did it all go?' When applied slightly over your lip line, it makes your lips appear fuller! - yo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2021
It's truly gorgeous! The case is beautiful, and the deep undertone shade is perfect for light complexions. The color is somewhat similar to YSL Rouge Volupté Shine #46, but this one is even prettier. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 15, 2021
Moisturizing with excellent color payoff. It's exactly the fresh, rosy shade I've been looking for! If I had to pick something, it's that the longevity isn't great due to its hydrating formula. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2020
The color is absolutely gorgeous! This is my first red lipstick... The price... well... And since it melts and applies softly like a lip balm, I feel like I'll use it up quickly. - jj******Combination SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2020
It's as moisturizing as a lip balm while offering excellent color payoff. This is the epitome of a lovely coral shade. Although it's described as orange-coral, it's closer to a clear red coral. It's perfect for a fresh, full makeup look, and it also looks beautiful as a pop of color on bare skin, adding a lively touch. The case is unique and cute, with a transparent design that shows the lipstick, accented with gold details for an added touch of luxury. While it's moisturizing, the bright and intense color may emphasize dead skin cells or clump. Be sure to exfoliate your lips before application. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2020
The full lip gradient effect is beautifully achieved with this product. What's more, the colors are vibrant yet sophisticated. It's moisturizing, so it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells. It's also great for use as a blush. Although it's a bit pricey, I'm tempted to buy other shades from the same line. The staying power isn't particularly impressive. The biggest drawbacks are the high price tag of over 40,000 won and the small amount of product you get. I use it not only as a lip product but also as a blush. It works beautifully as a blush too, and I'm very satisfied with the results.
