It's not overly thick, making it easy to spread and apply.
ConsIt pills terribly. It rolls off like eraser shavings... Even the slightest touch makes it pill. Pilling aside, after 3-4 hours of wear, my entire cheeks turned red, itchy, and had a tingling sensation. I immediately washed it off with a cleansing foam and applied my usual moisturizer, which stopped the itching. Sigh... I can't blame anyone but my sensitive skin. I spent so much time researching ingredients and deliberating before buying this, but it seems something in it doesn't agree with my skin. What can I do about having super sensitive skin like a blob fish... I'm so frustrated that I'm looking into allergy tests now. Guess I'll have to sell it on the marketplace...
TipHmm... For those who find it suitable, applying a generous amount to blemishes before bed and gently spreading it might lead to significant calming by morning. Oh, how I wish it worked for me too...

Cons- Slight pilling when applied before makeup in the morning - Feels a bit thick after application... It's best to apply just a tiny amount on specific spots

I discovered it by chance while watching YouTube. I'm using the Red Blemish Soothing Spot Balm along with the Red Blemish Cica S Cream. I apply the cream first, then this balm second, focusing on areas with redness or severe blemishes, especially on my chin. It exceeded my expectations and was fantastic for calming blemishes! When I apply it before bed, I wake up to significantly reduced redness and shrunken blemishes. I've been using this cream and soothing spot balm combo for about 3 years! Though it's on the pricier side, I feel it's worth every penny. The absorption is excellent, and while it has a slight wood glue-like scent, it doesn't bother me much despite my sensitivity to smells. I tend to apply it quite generously, so there's some pilling the next morning, but if you let it absorb fully, it's really great. I've tried this, the aforementioned cream, and the Red Blemish Cica Soothing Cream. I tried the soothing cream because the other two worked so well for me, but unlike them, it didn't suit my skin at all. After that experience, I realized I shouldn't switch products carelessly and went back to using just these two!
ConsThe downside is that when you wake up after applying it at night, your skin can feel quite oily. Also, it's a bit heavy and might pill if used before makeup, so I only apply it before bed, not in the morning. Since I use it every night, it runs out pretty quickly. As I mentioned earlier, the price is quite high, which can be burdensome. That's why I'm considering trying other products.
TipAfter applying your emulsion or cream, you can apply this to areas with severe blemishes or where you want to soothe redness, using as much as you need. (I started using it alone, but now my whole family uses it!)

ConsAfter some time, it starts to pill and flake off like dead skin cells...

After that, even the gentlest and best atopic skincare products couldn't satisfy me. They weren't really improving my skin, just preventing it from getting worse. As my skin was slowly recovering, like a turtle's pace, I stumbled upon Dr.G's Soothing Cream and Spot Balm Cream. They worked so incredibly well for me that I've been stocking up and using them for three years now! My skin has improved so much that even with just foundation, it looks like I have no blemishes or issues at all. I've cautiously recommended these products to friends with skin concerns. The Spot Balm Cream, in particular, is amazing for sensitive, red, or itchy areas - apply it thickly before bed, and you'll notice a significant improvement by morning. It's rare to find skincare that shows such noticeable results. These products are my last line of defense! I'll keep buying them to ensure they don't get discontinued.
ConsThere's honestly nothing to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say it's not meant for morning use. If you apply it in the morning before makeup, you might experience some pilling. After all, it has a heavier balm texture compared to regular moisturizers.
TipHere's a pro tip: Apply a generous amount of the Spot Balm on itchy, swollen areas before going to bed, and you'll wake up to find it significantly calmed down. Also, since it comes in a long tube, when you think you've run out, cut it in half - you'll be surprised how much product is still left inside!

I was skeptical at first, but it actually works! Also, if you squeeze out a small amount and apply it before makeup, then put on foundation, you'll get a subtle glow.
ConsIf you apply too much, it can pill. You need to use just a small amount. Other than that, I don't have any major complaints.
TipIt's fine to apply before foundation. It helps soothe blemishes and gives a glowing effect too.

They heal quickly.
ConsIt tends to pill like dead skin, so apply it as the last step of your skincare routine before bed. It really pills a lot.

It really helps clear them up!
ConsRather than absorbing, it just sits on the surface... It pills off like dead skin cells. Not impressed at all.

I was worried it might be too thick and cause more breakouts, as that's my skin type. But it's just the right consistency - not heavy at all, which I love. I applied a thin layer all over and a thicker layer on the blemishes before bed. It definitely helped calm them down significantly. I'll definitely buy it again if I suddenly get a breakout.
ConsIt's fine to use before bed, but when I tried applying it in the morning before makeup, it caused pilling. It's a bit disappointing, so I only use it at night.

ConsEven when advised to apply only a small amount in the morning to prevent pilling, it still pilled, so I applied it generously at night. It claimed to improve uneven skin tone and texture, but after two months, there was no change. Strangely, the areas where I applied it became whiter and the skin cracked... Of course, when I washed my face in the morning and applied emulsion, it disappeared, but why does my skin crack so uncomfortably...
