First off, it comes with a dedicated spatula which makes application convenient. I estimate that with three scoops - one for each under-eye area and another for the forehead, nose, and chin - you'll likely use up the jar quickly. After applying, there's a subtle tingling sensation on the face. I'm not sure if it's toxins being drawn out or the gold working its magic, but there's definitely a slight feeling. About ten minutes later, when I rinse it off with lukewarm water, my skin feels smooth and there's a subtle glow from the remaining gold particles - nothing too dramatic though! Interestingly, if you rub your face before rinsing, the mask peels off like rubber. While I'm not entirely sure about all its skin benefits yet, I had a blemish that I'd squeezed, leaving a mark and inflammation. After using this mask, that inflammation disappeared as if by magic... I'm attributing this to the mask's effects, but I plan to test it again next time I have a breakout to confirm!
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but I wish there was a bit more product in the jar.
