My skin feels instantly brighter and clearer. Every morning, I apply a thin layer before cleansing, and my skin glows all day long. I've even received compliments on how good my skin looks. Since it's a mask I use daily, I wish it was a bit more affordable. Other than that, I don't have any major complaints. - al****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 26, 2020
Complexion: After using, your skin tone becomes brighter (even if temporary), which really lifts your mood. It's my go-to mask the night before an important day. Firmness: While it's hard to expect dramatic firming effects from a mask, this gold mask leaves your skin feeling nourished. It's definitely good, but in a way that makes you wonder, 'What exactly is working so well?' Pores: It contains mud ingredients, which are said to be beneficial for pores. I suppose it's effective because it removes impurities. (It won't actually shrink your pores, but) it seems good for prevention. The price is the main drawback. It's quite expensive at full price. I'd recommend purchasing during sales events. Occasionally, influencers offer it as a buy-one-get-one-free deal. That's the best time to make your purchase. - ch********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2019
I previously enjoyed the Ahava mud mask with salt granules, so this time I decided to try their gold mask. First off, it comes with a dedicated spatula which makes application convenient. I estimate that with three scoops - one for each under-eye area and another for the forehead, nose, and chin - you'll likely use up the jar quickly. After applying, there's a subtle tingling sensation on the face. I'm not sure if it's toxins being drawn out or the gold working its magic, but there's definitely a slight feeling. About ten minutes later, when I rinse it off with lukewarm water, my skin feels smooth and there's a subtle glow from the remaining gold particles - nothing too dramatic though! Interestingly, if you rub your face before rinsing, the mask peels off like rubber. While I'm not entirely sure about all its skin benefits yet, I had a blemish that I'd squeezed, leaving a mark and inflammation. After using this mask, that inflammation disappeared as if by magic... I'm attributing this to the mask's effects, but I plan to test it again next time I have a breakout to confirm! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but I wish there was a bit more product in the jar. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 22, 2019
I've always loved mud masks for my pore issues, and I discovered the Ahava Gold Mask after some serious research! Unlike other mud masks that feel great right after use but then dry out and become irritating or leave my skin parched, this one is different! The application is top-notch - it glides on as smoothly as a hydrating cream! The included silicone spatula is a nice touch too. After use, my skin feels incredibly nourished. Instead of that tight, dry feeling, it's like a protective layer of nutrition has been deeply absorbed into my skin. I was so satisfied with this product that I checked the ingredients, but I must admit, some of them made me a bit wary. Perhaps that's why there's a slight warmth when rinsing it off, though it doesn't cause any redness or irritation. It applies so nicely that I tend to use it generously. While it's not cheap, I've heard that Ahava is the only company with mud extraction rights from the Israeli government. With 24k gold in the formula, maybe the price is actually reasonable? I bought it for my pores, and while I don't feel an immediate tightening effect, I do think it's helping to keep them clean. I saw this on a home shopping channel, but it's so much cheaper to buy as a duo set at duty-free shops! It looks incredibly luxurious and makes for an excellent gift. I gave one as a present, and the recipient thought it cost hundreds of dollars - how's that for impressive!
