  Pros

  I tried using this instead of cleansing oil on a day when I only wore sunscreen. The texture was quite rich. While its cleansing effectiveness wasn't particularly impressive, my skin felt hydrated after use.

  Cons

  I usually trust Illiyoon products for their ingredients, but the composition of this one was surprisingly unexpected.

  Pros

  It's gentle on the skin. I was worried it might be too harsh due to some ingredients, but it's actually very mild and leaves my skin feeling moisturized after cleansing. The foam is soft, and although it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling when washing your face, there's no residue left behind. If you rinse thoroughly with water, it cleanses well. The cleansing effectiveness is good too. I initially planned to use it only for morning cleansing, but now I'm using it in the evenings as well. Summer is coming, and with sunscreen use, I might need to switch to cleansing oils or waters. I'm a bit concerned about that, but I think double cleansing with this product will remove all makeup and skincare products.

  Cons

  The scent might be divisive for those sensitive to fragrances. Also, there are quite a few potentially irritating ingredients... I regret not checking the ingredient list thoroughly before purchasing. Other than that, no complaints.

  Tip

  Two pumps seem to be the perfect amount to use.

  Pros

  This product is gentle and moisturizing, unlike others that made my skin tingle after double cleansing. I use cleansing pads for sunscreen and makeup, followed by water, then this gel cleanser - it works great. It's perfect for makeup-free days or morning cleansing, and effectively removes deep-seated sebum from nose and chin areas when massaged gently against and along the skin grain. Unless I need heavy-duty cleansing or have used cleansing oil, I plan to stick with Illiyoon Gel Cleanser as my daily go-to. I was hesitant to switch to a gel cleanser for my sensitive skin, despite trying various samples, due to concerns about cleansing effectiveness. However, when I saw a two-pack deal on Hwahae, I decided to give it a try and I'm absolutely satisfied with it.

  Cons

  As with any gel cleanser, you need to wash your hands thoroughly before pumping. If you wet your face with soapy hands and get facial oils on them, you'll need to rewash before pumping, or it'll run everywhere. While this is slightly less convenient compared to foam cleansers, it's an inherent characteristic of gel cleansers, so I don't consider it a major drawback.

  Tip

  With clean hands, rinse your face thoroughly with water to remove surface oils, then wash your hands again with soap and pump just once. One pump is enough for your face and neck. Lather it in your palms, apply to your face, massage thoroughly, and rinse several times with lukewarm water. The cleansing is so refreshing, it's hard to believe it's a gel cleanser. Don't pump multiple times thinking it doesn't lather well - applying the gel directly to your face won't produce much foam and may leave residue. Once you're used to the texture, you'll find the minimal foam isn't an issue.

  Pros

  For those with oily skin who feel uneasy just rinsing with water in the morning, or when removing light makeup in the evening, I highly recommend this product! While using intense cleansing products can make your skin feel refreshed quickly, I've heard they can damage your skin barrier in the long run, which isn't good for your complexion... What I love about this product is that it's slightly acidic, which helps maintain skin hydration. Best of all, my skin feels incredibly moisturized after cleansing!

  Cons

  Considering its gentle ingredients, I found the fragrance to be quite strong! However, it has a slight powdery scent, so it didn't bother me too much.
