I received this as a free gift while purchasing other Illiyoon products. It's been a while since I've used a cleansing gel, and its travel-friendly size made it quite handy.

The gel has a light consistency, similar to a runny toner. Designed for sensitive and dry skin, it cleanses without irritation, leaving the skin soft and hydrated both during and after rinsing. However, for heavy or point makeup, it's best used as a second cleanser after using a makeup remover.

I used to love the Illiyoon Cleansing Gel with a different lid color in the same case, but sadly both have been discontinued one after another. Now I'm back to square one, searching for another cleanser with these ingredients as its base. Sigh.

As someone with skin that's super prone to blemishes when stressed, this cleanser does an amazing job. It thoroughly cleanses without triggering breakouts, and manages to maintain skin hydration while effectively removing impurities.

If you don't have dry skin, you might find the slightly slippery feeling after cleansing a bit off-putting.

I accidentally got some on my face and ended up with blemishes I don't even get on my body. For some reason, it causes breakouts when it touches my chin area. Strangely enough, it doesn't irritate my neck. If you don't have sensitive skin, I'd recommend giving it a try.

This works better on the body than the face. After using, I feel like there's some residue left, so I follow up with body wash! Otherwise, you can use them together.

After using up an entire bottle, my skin became extremely dry and flaky. Despite being low pH, it caused my skin to peel after cleansing. It didn't happen at first, but towards the end of the bottle, I noticed skin peeling around my nose and cheeks. However, this could be due to my skin's specific issues. I've tried over 10 different low pH cleansing foams, and none of them worked for me. Even though the internet suggests low pH cleansers are good for oily skin, it seems they just don't suit my skin type.

The scent is not irritating and it feels incredibly gentle when cleansing.
