ProsThe criteria for choosing a foundation are: whether the color is pretty, whether it can cover the redness even if there is no coverage, whether it is not too sticky or too matte, and whether the skin expression looks pretty.
I am currently using and selecting foundations based on these criteria.
Color:
The new foundation has a total of 4 colors that are quite suitable for Korean skin tones. The color I am using is 63 Fresh Beige, which is not yet registered on Hwahae. 21-22 shades are suitable for use, and the yellow base is a perfect match for my skin!
Between Moisture and Matte:
It has just the right balance of moisture and matte, not too sticky or too dry. It seems suitable for use in all seasons.
Tube-type Foundation:
This is the first time I'm using a tube-type foundation, and it's much more convenient and hygienic than I expected. With other products, I usually dispense it on the back of my hand, but with Clinique, I can apply it directly to my face, which is very convenient.
Adherence:
So far, I've only used it with a puff, and the adherence is excellent. It adheres well the moment it's applied. It doesn't slip on any base (currently sunscreen/tone-up cream/primer).
Cons- Clumping around the nose
If used in a slightly flaky state, it clumps around the nose and pores, which is disappointing, even though it doesn't happen in other areas.
- Dries quickly due to the slightly matte finish
If you don't spread it quickly, it feels stiff. After application, the matte finish is not noticeable, but strangely, if you don't apply it quickly, it feels a bit stiff, which is inconvenient.
TipIf you lightly moisten the puff before applying, it becomes more moisturizing and the skin expression looks prettier!
The order of the photos is:
Before use - Spread state - After full application - More than 5 hours later
