I ran out of my moisturizer and decided to try the Dr. Oracle Pro Balance Biotics Moisturizer while searching for a new product! Since it offers microbiome care, I thought it would be perfect for this weather when our skin barrier tends to weaken. ✔️ What I loved: ✅ Hydrating without stickiness - It's a lightweight cream that absorbs well into the skin, leaving it feeling fresh. ✅ Skin barrier care - Thanks to the probiotics, my skin feels comfortable after use! ✅ Creates a subtle glow - Right after application, my skin looks healthier with a natural radiance. ✅ Ideal for daily hydration - It applies lightly while maintaining long-lasting moisture. ⚠️ Might be slightly lacking for extremely dry skin - You may need to pair it with an oil or richer cream in the dead of winter. ⚠️ If it's not in a tube but a jar, hygiene could be a concern (my sample was in a tube, but the full-size product is likely to be in a pump or jar). ⚠️ The scent might be hit or miss - It's not strong, but there's a slight creamy fragrance that some may or may not like. ✔️ For best results, apply after cleansing, toning, and using your serum or essence to boost hydration! ✔️ Absorbs quickly, so it won't pill under makeup. ✔️ For extremely dry skin, apply generously or mix with a drop or two of facial oil for added effectiveness. ✔️ In summer, its high moisture content provides sufficient hydration when used alone. Recommended for those seeking light hydration or needing skin barrier care! ✔️ Not too rich, making it suitable for combination to oily skin types. ✔️ Dry skin types might need to layer it with other products in harsh winter conditions. ✨ If you're looking for a light and fresh moisturizer, you'll likely be quite satisfied with this product! - cs******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMar 1, 2024
It's decent. I was curious about this Dr. Jart+ product, so I gave it a try. However, I didn't find it compelling enough to repurchase. The lemon scent is quite strong. It's a slightly tangy fragrance that teeters on the edge of being bothersome. I wish they had completely removed the potentially harmful ingredients. Judging by the occasional blemishes that appeared during use, it seems this product might trigger acne. The price is also a bit steep for the amount you get, and it's not very accessible either. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 16, 2022
This was my holy grail moisturizer. (Though I've regrettably switched to Aestura now...) I carelessly used it without reading the name properly, thinking it was a cream. It was quite runny, so I assumed it was a low-oil hydrating cream, but upon closer inspection, I realized it was a moisturizer. That's how well it worked for me, even in the depths of winter. I have extremely combination dehydrated skin and I'm a skincare minimalist, so I only use one high-quality product. This one really locks in deep hydration without leaving excess oil on the surface, which I absolutely love. It's also incredibly gentle - I even used it after fraxel or laser treatments. Hmm... there's not much to dislike, but... It has a somewhat ambiguous identity, being neither an emulsion nor a cream. As a skincare minimalist, it was perfect for me, but for those who prefer a multi-step routine, especially those with dry skin, it might feel a bit lacking. It could work well as a summer moisturizer for dry skin types, or as a winter all-in-one for combination or oily skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2022
Winter is perfect for deep hydration. It provides excellent moisture during the cold months. It's too rich for my thin skin, making it uncomfortable to use. Definitely not suitable for summertime! I recommend using it in winter, especially if your skin gets super dehydrated. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2020
Well... it's just an average product. It provides hydration, but I'd say it forms a light moisture barrier without feeling heavy on the skin. While it seems to absorb completely without leaving any residue, I felt uncomfortable, as if my skin had absorbed too much. Rather than using it as an emulsion, it's probably best applied generously as a sleeping mask... - ko*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJan 12, 2020
It absorbs like water and applies as easily as sunscreen. The ingredients are excellent. It's so watery that I can't tell if it's a toner or a lotion. It causes severe skin tightness. - 10**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2019
I tried this because it contains probiotics. I have oily, dehydrated, sensitive skin that can't tolerate ethanol. I've been suffering from seborrheic dermatitis for 5 months. It's my first time being diagnosed with it, and I've been having a tough time. I've changed so many cosmetics, and many products sting as soon as I apply them, so I always check the ingredients carefully. This product contains cetearyl alcohol, so I don't really recommend it. I didn't notice the stearic acid when I used it, but the next day I developed many pustular blemishes, which I don't usually get. I used it once and now it's just sitting unused. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2019
When first applied, it feels moisturizing and has a nice, bouncy texture. It's not heavy at all, but rather glides on smoothly, which I appreciate as someone who dislikes heavy creams. The scent is somewhat herbal, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. If you're not into elaborate skincare routines, this cream's texture is perfect for a quick application. It absorbs quickly without leaving much of a sticky residue! It doesn't seem to cause blemishes. This product seems suitable for oily, normal, and dry skin types. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the scent might be divisive. Those who dislike herbal fragrances probably won't enjoy it, as the scent lingers for about two hours after application. Also, in oily areas like the T-zone, I noticed slightly increased oil production the next morning. This may vary from person to person, but I personally experienced a bit more oiliness.
