Now that winter's here, I'm more concerned about preventing flakiness than covering pores. I've started using this again recently, and it's surprisingly nice! It's lightweight, slightly moisturizing, and seems to do the job well.
ConsI'm not entirely sure what specific effects this primer is supposed to have!

My skin feels quite comfortable. It's not too heavy or dry, but applies thinly and moisturizes without feeling stuffy - which is rare for a primer! It's like applying an extra layer of cream, but with a slight powdery finish. It's not matte or velvety, so even those with dry skin should find it comfortable to use. It spreads very thinly and comfortably, with just a slight powdery feel, making it lightweight. Like the foundation from the same brand, its key feature is an incredibly thin and light adherence to the skin! When applying, it's as fluid and moisturizing as a cream, and after application, it doesn't feel heavy or like you've got a thick layer of silicone on. True to its name, it gives a soft matte finish. It's not a super hydrating water/oil base, nor is it a completely matte, oil-controlling type. It's right in the middle, which has its own charm! It slightly smooths out pores, uneven texture, and helps with foundation application on dry, flaky skin. It subtly fills in pores and smooths out any roughness or dryness that might cause foundation to look patchy. While it's not distinctly moisturizing or powdery, it's perfect for those subtle situations. For my combination dehydrated skin, when my skin is more dehydrated than usual and foundation tends to emphasize pores and look a bit patchy, this primer smooths everything out without being greasy. It also helps control foundation that might be a bit too dewy for your skin type! The packaging is also pretty and appealing. I didn't expect much, but the frosted glass bottle looks luxurious, and the overall color scheme is beautiful. As recommended, it pairs well with the Fenty foundation from the same brand. Although it's a bit dry and powdery, it really helps smooth out my skin. I don't have severe texture issues, but my skin isn't perfectly even, with some pore-like unevenness. This primer significantly improves the overall appearance, making my skin look much smoother up close.
ConsAs mentioned above, if you're not in those specific situations, you might not notice much effect. To be honest, those precise conditions don't occur that often... I mainly use it occasionally as a supplement when my usual foundation becomes too dry or too dewy due to changes in my skin condition. I'm not sure it's worth the price and the hassle of overseas purchasing. Because it doesn't have any standout features, I don't see any significant changes in terms of pore coverage, added glow, or makeup longevity on a daily basis. Since my skin is a bit uneven and not in great condition, it's better to apply this before foundation, but the change isn't dramatic enough to justify adding an extra step to my routine. I bought it to use with the Pro Filt'r foundation because they're supposed to work well together, but I'm not sure about its effectiveness when used alone. While it does pair decently with the foundation, the effect is so subtle that I could probably do without it. I'm not sure it's worth spending nearly as much as the foundation itself on a product that adds an extra step to my routine every day.
