But now that it's winter and I want to prevent cakiness more than just cover my pores, I've started using it again recently. It's light and a bit moisturizing, so it seems to be working alright!!?
ConsI'm not really sure what kind of effect this primer is supposed to have!!?

The skin feels quite comfortable. It's not too heavy or cakey, but rather moisturizing and applies thinly, with less of that stuffy feeling that you'd expect from a primer! It's almost like applying an extra layer of cream. And it becomes slightly powdery. It's not matte and velvety, so even dry-skinned people can use it comfortably. It applies very thinly and comfortably, and just a bit velvety, so it's lightweight. Just like the brand's foundation, it has a really thin and lightweight adherence! When applying, it's moisturizing and runny like a cream, and after application, it doesn't feel overly stuffy or like a thick silicone coating. The finish is soft-matte, as the name suggests. It's not a super moisturizing/oil-based type, nor is it completely powdery-matte and oil-controlling, but right in the middle, which is its charm. It helps a bit with pores, unevenness, and dullness, so when applying foundation, it prevents emphasizing textural issues. It lightly fills in pores and smooths out roughness or dryness that can cause foundation to cling. The moisturizing or powdery characteristics aren't exactly defined, but it's comfortable and just right for the subtle(?) situation. For someone like me with an oily, dull complexion where foundation can cling and emphasize pores, this provides a smooth, comfortable finish without being greasy. And when the foundation feels a bit too moisturizing and melts in, it helps control that. The packaging is also pretty and I like it. I didn't have high expectations, but the frosted matte glass bottle looks luxurious, and the overall color scheme is nice. As recommended, it pairs well with the same brand's Fenty foundation. Since that foundation can be drying and powdery, while I don't have severe indentations, my skin is a bit uneven with some porous areas, and this helps smooth that out a lot.
ConsTo be honest, the effects are not that noticeable unless the situation is as precise as you described. The truth is, such delicate and precise situations don't come up that often. I just use my usual foundation occasionally as a supplement when my skin changes and becomes drier or more hydrated than usual due to skin changes. I'm not sure it's worth buying this at this price and having it shipped from overseas. Since the features are not very distinct, it doesn't make a big difference in terms of pore coverage, glow, or lasting power compared to my regular foundation. Since my skin is a bit uneven and not in the best condition, using this as a base before applying foundation is better, but the changes aren't very noticeable, so I'm not sure if I need to buy and use an extra step. I tried using it together with the Pro filt'r foundation as they're said to work well together, but I didn't notice a significant effect when using it on its own. It works decently with the foundation, but the effects are so minimal that I'd probably just use it without it if I didn't have it. I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle of buying something similar in price to my foundation and having to use an extra step every time.
