I used it to focus on removing blackheads on my nose and whiteheads around my chin, as well as light overall exfoliation, and it seemed to help with cleansing without causing significant irritation. The finish also felt non-irritating and refreshing to me. I also did not experience any breakouts after using it, and there was no characteristic dryness that can come from overly aggressive peeling.
ConsWhile it helped with mild exfoliation without excessive irritation, I did not notice visible changes in removing the whiteheads around my chin, so that was a bit disappointing. I think I'll need to use it more consistently to see the full effects.
TipInstead of trying to aggressively scrub away impurities with your fingers, it's better to gently roll the product over your skin in a sweeping motion. Doing this regularly will be gentler on your skin and yield more positive results. Afterwards, using a moisturizing mask or cream with ingredients like aloe or mint can provide additional hydration.

I used it twice during the 2-week trial period, but now my skin has suddenly turned upside down, and I have a lot of milia and acne... I was just in need of a peeling gel, and I was selected to try it! I was looking forward to it, and the good thing is that I feel like my skin's dead skin is being cleaned up and it's becoming smooth and smooth! It's more moisturized than I expected after using it, and there's no dry or tight feeling. There was no breakout or anything like that after using it!
ConsSince it's a physical exfoliating product, there was some irritation, though not completely absent. It was a bit more irritating to me than the product I was using before, to the point where I was wondering if I could keep using it... When I apply and roll it, it feels like rubbing sand on my face... And at first, it feels like the dead skin is being well removed when I roll it, but after a while, it starts to clump up and the dead skin removal doesn't seem to work well! I don't think I'll repurchase or use the remaining product.
TipIf you have sensitive skin, I don't recommend it. Applying a soothing pack or aloe gel after use would be helpful to calm the skin!

The PHA in this product addresses the irritation concerns of the highly acidic AHA, making it an ideal chemical peeling gel even for sensitive skin. The exfoliating sensation during use is similar to using natural grain scrubs like rice bran, with a slightly uneven, grainy texture rather than a uniform, regular feel. The natural cellulose and 3rd generation PHA ingredients help with a two-step peeling process. The product contains hyaluronic acid, chamomile extract, and ceramide NP to soothe and hydrate the peeled areas. While the skin appears reddish for several hours after use, there are no dramatic tightness or smoothness effects, and the complexion looks even and healthy the next morning. Even without any tightness, the skin gradually becomes more refined, and I can apply my basic skincare routine while gently feeling the texture of my skin.
ConsThe ingredients are confirmed; there are some bitter contents in the usage experience, but there is no tightness or stinging on the skin after use. However, the skin tone does become reddish at first. It becomes fine after a night's sleep, but the initial use was a bit worrying. For extremely sensitive users, it would be better to look into the '3rd generation PHA' ingredient or other unfamiliar ingredients before purchasing. The volume is small compared to the price. Compared to the inexpensive peeling agent and natural grain ingredients I used before, the content volume of this product is on the smaller side. (Or are other products just too large in volume?) There is no instruction to use only a small amount, so I used a similar amount and the volume decreased significantly. So it seems the cost-effectiveness 'advantage' cannot be provided.
TipThe five contents below are part of the manufacturer's advertising copy recommending this product for certain skin types. 1. Dull, flaky skin with accumulated dead skin and impurities; this is a common reason why consumers use peeling products. It's a given and not a particularly special point to highlight. 2. Sensitive skin that requires gentle exfoliation; during use, this product did not feel significantly less irritating compared to other brands. Since the Hwahae community is mindful of using non-irritating products, calling this a unique feature of this product would be difficult. 3. Dry skin with severe tightness after cleansing; the Hwahae Trial Reviewers used this product twice and then tried another brand's peeling product on the third use. Compared to the other product, this one did not leave any tightness, even when taking time to clean up and apply skincare afterwards. 4. Uneven, dull complexion even with makeup; after using this, the skin did not appear blotchy the next day, but it was surprisingly reddish immediately after application. 5. Skin sensitive and dry due to external environment; for moderately sensitive skin, the slightly irregular texture felt between the hands and skin during application is manageable, but this product does not seem to contain any special regenerative ingredients to uniquely address issues like fine dust sensitivity that are prevalent these days. The copy could have been written with more care. In summary, these are the Hwahae Trial Reviewers' insights, which are somewhat useful tips, though not groundbreaking. To photograph the product, the face was tilted slightly towards the light to capture the same brightness without any editing.

However, the exfoliating product I used before, while gentle, didn't really give me the feeling of properly clearing away dead skin cells. But with the Benton Peeling, I noticed that my nose became smoother and my blackheads were cleared after using it. I was surprised by how soft and smooth my skin felt, and also that it didn't feel dry after cleansing. It was also not at all irritating, which was another pleasant surprise. Honestly, this is the first time I've used an exfoliating product that has been this effective.
ConsThe packaging is not great. This was my first time trying the Benton product, and the font, logo, and color scheme give me a bit of an 80s cosmetics vibe, which is a bit disappointing.

At first, when I applied it to my face, the feel was similar to Primera, and the texture was also similar. These days, since it's summer, I have a bit more dead skin, but after using it, I definitely feel clean and refreshed. I've had my skin turn over before from over-exfoliating, so I usually use mild products, and this also seems to be a mild product. So I was able to use it multiple times. Sometimes after exfoliating, my skin doesn't absorb makeup well the next day, but with this product, my skin was smooth and my makeup applied well the next day. The product removes dead skin in a fluffy, cloud-like way, as shown in the photo. Since I've been using Primera products for a while, I keep comparing them, but I personally think this product would be a good replacement. I plan to use this product alternately with Primera. Overall, I think they are quite similar. I used this product with great satisfaction!!
ConsWhen I first applied it to my face, I don't know much, but there was a slightly sour? smell that I associate with products containing AHA or BHA ingredients. However, it's not at all irritating, and I didn't notice the smell after the first use, so you can think of it as fragrance-free.
TipThis isn't my own method, but it's best to make sure to remove any water after cleansing before using the product. Be sure to use it as directed!

I wasn't sure if the particles were clumping up or if it was just removing dead skin cells. This product, however, has smaller and lighter particles, and it effectively removes dead skin cells even with a gentle massage. It seems to remove dead skin cells properly with just a small amount. I used it twice, and I noticed that the amount of dead skin cells removed was less the second time compared to the first. Also, the ingredients are gentle, so while I'm not particularly sensitive, it didn't cause any issues for my skin. My sister tried it too and said she liked this product. After using the peeling gel, my skin felt really soft!
ConsI have combination skin, and while others said they didn't feel any dryness after using it, I did experience a slight dryness and didn't feel much moisture. Apart from that, everything else was good, and I'll write more about it after further use.

I always felt like something was missing when using gommage alone, but this product really hits the sweet spot in terms of removing dead skin. Even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience much irritation at all. Therefore, I highly recommend this product.
ConsIf there are any downsides, I haven't noticed them yet, but I'll be sure to add them if I do.
TipThis product is also great for removing those bumpy, uneven textures like whiteheads and blackheads in the T-zone area for those with combination or oily skin types.
