This body wash rinses off well, unlike some thicker ones that can cause blemishes even after endless rinsing due to residue. It's gentle enough not to irritate my skin. As someone who usually prefers bar soap for convenience, this is the only Korean body wash I can use comfortably. The fragrance is also pleasantly subtle. I wish there were body washes with a more squeaky-clean feel for oily skin types. Why do they always have such slippery formulas? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 29, 2020
I got this at a decent price-to-quality ratio. It's great for everyday use because of the generous amount. It seems the color changes if it's been open for a while. The texture also appears to alter over time... - ch********Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMar 17, 2020
The cotton scent is subtle and natural, not artificial. It has a thin, transparent liquid consistency! First off, the ingredients aren't great. The body doesn't feel refreshed, and there's a slight oily residue left behind. Also, it seems to be causing blemishes on my body. I recommend purchasing a product with better ingredients! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinMar 15, 2020
The fragrance is lovely and it's so affordable that my mother keeps several stocked up at home. I finally discovered why our family suffered from dry skin and itching. According to Hwahae, sodium laureth sulfate, an ingredient in this product, is one of the 20 cautionary substances that can cause skin dryness, itching, and even cataracts. We switched to a body wash with better ingredients for atopic skin, and our problems cleared up completely. Now I'm not sure what to do with all the bottles we've stockpiled... If you insist on using it, save it for summer when your skin is less prone to dryness. - ke**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 10, 2020
=================================== I'm the Prince of Stars✨, a guy who rates cosmetics. The review below is a highly personal and subjective opinion of one male consumer, so please use it only as a reference. =================================== 💁🏻♂️Skin Type My skin type is [combination dehydrated oily / acne-prone / sensitive / prone to redness / enlarged pores], basically a collection of most skin concerns people have. I try to avoid the 20 caution ingredients as much as possible through Hwahae, and I also make sure to exclude products containing 'aromatic oils' from the citrus family, 'shea butter', and 'saturated fatty acids', as they commonly cause blemishes on my skin. =================================== 💁🏻♂️Body Routine While my face has combination dehydrated skin, my body tends to be extremely dry. Due to my sensitive skin, I often experience contact dermatitis where my skin becomes red and swollen even from the slightest scratch. That's why, especially during dry seasons like now, I make sure to apply body cream all over after showering. I also carry hand cream with me during the day to apply not only to my hands but also to any areas that become dry or itchy. =================================== This is my review after purchasing with my own money from Coupang on 19.10.06:) [1st purchase] 'True Value-for-Money Body Cleanser' 🙆🏻♂️Ingredients <<⭐️⭐️⭐>> As consumers become more interested in cosmetic ingredients, many body cleansers with mild acidic formulas and good ingredients are being released. While this product wasn't specifically launched to target this trend, and thus can't receive the highest rating for ingredients, it still deserves praise for its user-friendly formulation compared to other readily available products on the market. 🙆🏻♂️Price <<⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐️️️>> I'd like to give this product 6 stars out of 5 for its price - it's that good of a deal. Some might question this rating based on the regular price, but keep in mind that as a mass-market product, it's frequently discounted at various retailers. Check out the tip below for more info. Moreover, among the various body cleansers from Happy Bath and other brands commonly found in supermarkets, there are few products that offer this kind of ingredient formulation at such an affordable price. As a sensitive-skinned and budget-conscious consumer, I found this product to be truly appreciated in many ways. 🙆🏻♂️Scent <<⭐⭐⭐️⭐>> Personally, I prefer body cleansers with a slightly stronger scent. I enjoy the feeling of a pleasant fragrance enveloping my body after showering, washing away the sweat and body odor from a long day. This product has a cozy and sweet cotton flower scent that isn't too overpowering, which I found really nice. 🙅🏻♂️SLES If you look at the ingredient list, you'll see Sodium Laureth Sulfate or 'SLES'. Those interested in cosmetic ingredients these days have probably heard about 'SLS'. SLES is SLS with an added 'E', which stands for 'Ethylene Oxide', a chemical substance. This Ethylene Oxide is said to potentially cause cancer and even mutations. As a result, it can cause significant irritation when used on the skin. Despite this, the reason for including such ingredients in cleansers is for environmental conservation. SLS is a substance that has a very negative impact on the environment. To help break down SLS, Ethylene Oxide is added, but ironically, this ends up adversely affecting the users. 🙋🏻♂️Thorough Rinsing As mentioned earlier, this product contains 'SLES'. If you have to use a cleanser with such ingredients, it's crucial to rinse thoroughly. Make sure to rinse every nook and cranny multiple times to ensure no residue remains on your body. 🙋🏻♂️Open Markets For those who prioritize value for money over ingredients and decide to purchase this product, I recommend buying from open markets. After comparing the price per ml across various platforms including offline supermarkets, warehouse-style supermarkets, online shopping malls, and open markets, I found that open markets offer the best deals. Keep this in mind if you're planning to buy. =================================== - tt*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJan 22, 2020
The body wash lathered up nicely with rich foam. It felt comfortable during showering - not too slippery or drying. It's really great value for money with a generous amount of product. This might vary from person to person, but personally, I found the scent too strong, making me wrinkle my nose every time I showered. It has an artificial soapy smell... perhaps like cotton? Those who enjoy cotton fragrances might like it. Apart from that, it's decent. - re*****Combination SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 4, 2019
The fragrance is subtle and comforting, which I absolutely love. It's also convenient to rinse off as it doesn't feel too slippery. The finish leaves my skin feeling hydrated, making it a great all-around choice for everyday use. It doesn't give the impression of having strong cleansing effectiveness, and it tends to produce less foam than expected. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 22, 2019
The scent is lovely. It's somehow familiar. It lathers up nicely. Overall, it's quite satisfactory. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. As I mentioned in the positives, it lathers well, so I can't really think of any drawbacks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 19, 2019
The price is affordable and the scent is delightfully fresh. It's easy to find and offers great value with a generous amount. Plus, it doesn't cause any blemishes! As someone with dry skin, I find it a bit too drying. Other than that, I can't really think of any drawbacks. - dh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2017
The bottle is generously sized and the cotton flower scent is intense! After showering, the fragrance of the body wash fills the bathroom, and it leaves a subtle, lingering scent on your skin. As someone with very dry skin, I felt some tightness after using it. If you have extremely dry skin, I'd recommend opting for a body wash with moisturizing properties.
