Great hydration, gentle on the skin, and not overpowering in scent. It's perfect for daily use. I wish it came in a larger size. Also, it's a bit frustrating that there's always some product left at the bottom that's hard to reach. It would be nice if the packaging allowed us to use every last drop. - ji******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 6, 2022
I've repurchased this product multiple times. First off, it's not overly rich! I really enjoyed using it. The oil content is less than expected, and it absorbs well with a nice, firm texture. I also appreciated the sturdy packaging. Surprisingly, perhaps due to its formulation, it lasts longer than anticipated, which is another plus! For winter use, it might not be rich enough. It doesn't create that protective oil barrier, so it seems to evaporate quickly from the skin. - w_****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 9, 2021
It feels just right - not too heavy, not too light, perfect for reapplication. My lips are extremely dry, so I apply frequently. Unlike richer products that just build up and ironically reduce hydration, this lip balm has the ideal texture and moisturizing effect. I also love the long cap design, which makes it less likely to slip out of my hand. If you have extremely dry lips, you might find the hydration level insufficient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2021
I loved how moisturizing it was and how it didn't feel sticky on my lips when applied! I didn't experience any itching while using this lip balm, so I can't say there were any downsides! - do*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 29, 2021
My lip condition: I had way too many wrinkles and always had to slather on Vaseline before bed. If I skipped even one day, my lips would become severely dry the next day. Wrinkle improvement: The lip wrinkles visibly smoothed out. I didn't change anything else in my routine, just switched to this product for my lip balm. So the conclusion is that this product seems to have smoothed out my lip wrinkles! Dryness and cracks improvement: Before, if I forgot to apply Vaseline for even one day, my lips would definitely crack or dry out the next day. But since using this product, I don't feel the dryness even without constant reapplication. What's even better is that I don't need to apply a thick layer - just a couple of swipes of a moderate amount is enough. The stick format is absolutely fantastic! Conclusion: It's simply a product without any drawbacks... I'm writing this review hoping it never gets discontinued. This is my holy grail lip balm! There are absolutely no downsides. It's just the best. Please, everyone, buy it! No pro tips needed! No matter how you apply it, your lip condition just gets amazingly better. - y4****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJul 20, 2021
The formula is non-sticky and applies smoothly. It's easy to use. The case is sturdy, so it doesn't get squished or break easily. I think the ingredients didn't agree with me. A day or two after using it, my lips swelled up to the point of almost oozing. The outer part of my lips kept itching and feeling irritated. I thought I had a cold sore, but it was because of this lip balm. I'll have to go back to using Vaseline. My lips became extremely dry, cracking like a turtle's shell. After exfoliating and applying this balm, my lips swelled up like they were coated in a thick layer. - gr******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2021
My lips had severe blisters from incorrectly applying tint before, but they've improved a lot. Since then, they've become super sensitive. After trying countless lip balms, this one stood out as the best for soothing and causing no irritation. I've probably used about 6-7 tubes so far, and these days I go through one in about a month or two. So... I wish it were a bit cheaper, haha! While it doesn't last more than 3-4 hours, I have extremely dry skin and lips, so I understand. Other balms might claim to be more hydrating, but they often over-soften and remove dead skin cells, or make my lips feel too greasy. This one, however, moisturizes while keeping my lip's dead skin cells stable, which I prefer. It's rare to find a lip balm like this... I wish they'd sell more of it in the US... haha. There's nothing really bad to say. I truly love it! I just apply it gently and frequently. When my lips are very dry, I apply about two layers. For everyday use, a light application works well. - na******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 10, 2021
A lip balm with great ingredients perfect for spring, summer, and fall. My lips are sensitive and tend to react badly to allergens, but this product has clean ingredients that keep my lips comfortable. Many stick lip balms lack hydration, but this one provides just the right amount of moisture. It's a bit too light for winter use. However, in my case, I found it works well when applied generously before bed during the colder months. Apply a thick layer before bedtime, and in the morning, gently remove any dead skin cells from your plumped-up lips for best results. - lm*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2021
1. The ingredients are fantastic. I've only used tinted or scented lip balms before, which had mediocre ingredients. This one, however, has such excellent ingredients that it's truly trustworthy. 2. It's fragrance-free. Unless you hold it right up to your nose for over 5 minutes, you won't detect any scent. This makes it comfortable to apply anytime. 3. It quickly moisturizes lips. Once applied, your lips stay hydrated. Unless you eat something or deliberately wipe it off, your lips will still feel moisturized even after sleeping. I'll definitely keep using this lip balm before bed. 4. No oily feel or stickiness. Unlike Vaseline, it doesn't leave a residue. Your lips won't look shiny as if you've just eaten fried food. 5. The packaging is attractive and durable. The cap doesn't come off easily, so you don't have to worry about dust getting into the lip balm. Bonus: The company's customer service is incredibly kind. When I inquired about something in the lip balm, they apologized over the phone, recalled the product, and sent a new one. I was just trying to give feedback, but their response was surprisingly quick and friendly. As expected from a big company! 1. Unlike Vaseline or Nivea, which build up on your lips the more you apply, this doesn't accumulate. Even after 10 applications, you won't feel a thick layer on your lips. However, it still keeps your lips moisturized without needing a thick application. 2. It seems to run out quickly, probably because I use it so often. That's a bit disappointing... Whenever your lips feel a bit dry, keep applying it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 10, 2021
First off, my lips are... extremely dry. In winter, even if I slather on lip balm, they get dry again within 1-2 hours. I'm a big fan of Dermatory and have tried many skincare products, so I decided to try their lip balm too, and it's truly amazing! * Fragrance-free: This is a huge plus for me. I really dislike strong or sweet scents, especially in lip balms where they can be overwhelming. * Light texture: Usually, highly moisturizing lip balms tend to be sticky and heavy, right? But this one is light and refreshing! It provides hydration without any stickiness... it's perfect. * Dealing with dead skin cells: I've probably gone through about 10 tubes of Sidmool's Jojoba lip balm. It's great for nighttime care, but you know how sometimes when you apply too much, it can cause dead skin to lift and feel like it's pilling? That's why I like the Jojoba balm for night use - in the morning, after removing the dead skin, my lips feel soft. However, this isn't convenient before makeup or when I'm out, which is why I bought the Dermatory lip balm. It's moisturizing without causing dead skin to lift, making it ideal for use before makeup. While I don't have any major complaints yet... if I had to pick one thing, it would be that the stick format doesn't seem as hygienic. Personally, I prefer tube-type packaging as it feels cleaner. The stick format is convenient, but I do occasionally worry about hygiene. I use Dermatory during the day and Sidmool's Jojoba lip balm at night. During the day or before makeup, I swipe this lip balm back and forth about three times. At night, I apply a generous amount of the Jojoba balm. This routine keeps my lips constantly moisturized. It works perfectly even in winter! I love Dermatory...
