This is such a soft, flattering color for winter cool tones! First of all, the color is absolutely gorgeous! It's a unique, sophisticated, and subtly beautiful shade that's hard to find elsewhere. I was instantly captivated by the color and had to buy it. It's like a soft lavender mixed with a muted floral pink and a hint of light gray. The result is so intriguingly beautiful! It's perfectly balanced - not too pale, dark, or dull to make you look washed out, yet not too intense or saturated. It's just right - comfortable, calm, with a touch of vitality, and a noticeable but not overwhelming presence and color payoff! As a winter bright tone myself, I usually suit lipsticks with more saturation. Colors that are too faded or light can make me look lifeless. However, this shade, while soft, isn't too light and has just the right amount of vibrancy and color. I love how it strikes that perfect balance between a bold, intense lip and a light, natural one. It's that subtle difference that's often hard to achieve. The color is a unique blend of light purple, pink, gray, and beige that you don't often see! It's a gentle color that suits winter cool tones effortlessly. Many winter cool tone colors tend to be quite intense, but this one is beautifully flattering without being overpowering. In terms of performance, this lipstick has excellent adherence, longevity, and minimal transfer, which I really appreciate. It's not dry and chalky like MAC's matte bullet lipsticks, but applies smoothly with a somewhat creamy texture. It's comfortable on the lips and doesn't dry them out. Yet, it adheres thinly and firmly to the lips, with minimal transfer and good staying power. It's impressive how it manages to stick so well without being overly drying. As someone who prefers strong-staining water tints and gel tints, I usually find lipsticks too easy to wipe off and sitting on the surface, which I don't like. They often feel like they're just coating my lips or transferring everywhere. But this lipstick addresses all those issues. It actually adheres better and lasts longer than some mediocre mousse tints that lack good adherence. It doesn't emphasize lip texture and applies evenly and intensely with just a few swipes of the stick. There's no settling into fine lines, which is great. The application is smooth. It glides on creamy and moisturizing, yet adheres well to the lips. It's rare to find a creamy formula that doesn't easily wipe off, but this one manages to stick well. Of course, being creamy, it's comfortable and moisturizing on the lips. For reference, I prefer products with good adherence, minimal transfer, and a thin feel, which is why I usually go for water tints and gel tints. I like how this lipstick applies evenly and adheres surprisingly well! Being creamy, there's some transfer if you touch it, and it can smudge a bit, but that's expected from a lipstick and it's quite acceptable. Among transparent and moisturizing lipsticks, I liked LAKA's Watery Tint the most, but for opaque and creamy lipsticks, this one is my favorite. I used to like Laneige's Intense Lipstick, but it wiped off and smudged too easily, feeling like it just sat on the surface. This one feels like it actually adheres to the lips. The best thing about this lipstick is that it's the least affected by lip condition. Creamy and opaque lipsticks like this work well even on dry lips because they cover everything, making them very easy to use. I've avoided this type of formula in the past because they often don't adhere well and transfer easily, but this one sticks to the lips better than most, making it a pleasure to use. The bullet shape is also perfect. It's not an extremely pointed teardrop shape, nor is it too blunt and round. It's just right for naturally drawing the lip line. The packaging design is also quite unique and pretty. It looks clean and sleek. If they had just used a standard packaging design, I would have given this lipstick six stars because it's so good. But the case is really... disappointing. It's loose, and if you close it at the wrong angle, it pops out of the magnetic closure. If this were a product I only used at home, the case wouldn't be such a letdown. But lipstick is something you carry around all day and use frequently. I think it's the cosmetic product where packaging matters most. It's pretty, but overall quite unsatisfactory. From the moment you try to take the case out of the box, it's a struggle. It's packed too tightly in the paper box, with a plastic barcode insert forcibly wedged in. No matter how much I pressed, it wouldn't come out. Only the lid came off, making me anxious about smearing the lipstick inside. After a lot of effort, I finally got it out, but the tightly packed barcode plastic left marks on the lipstick case. To top it off, the black part was covered in dust, which took a while to clean off. I mean, why is the condition like this? Some people have reported torn boxes too. It seems like they didn't put much thought into the packaging. You have to align it square to close it, but if you turn it 90 degrees, it pops out of the magnetic closure. There's no front or back distinction on the lid, and no logo, so you can't align it properly. You end up having to close the lid, and if it pops out, turn it 90 degrees and try again. It's unnecessarily complicated. A simple, standard design would have been better. Right from the start, taking it out was really... And the lipstick cap is looser than expected, so absolutely do not just toss it into a pouch or bag with other items! It will open up as it rolls around inside. Sometimes pouches or bags have a pocket just big enough for one lipstick - that's the only safe place for it! It closes with a magnet, but the lid covers everything, with only about 1cm of the gold base exposed. They seem to have made the magnet weak for easy opening (since the gripping area at the bottom is so narrow, it would be hard to open if it closed too tightly), but this means it opens too easily on its own. If it rolls and bumps around with other items, it just pops open. This happens not just in bags, but in makeup pouches too. I bought it at Chicor, where only the gold base was displayed without the lid, so I bought it just based on how good the lipstick itself looked... I had no idea the lid would be like this. If it were eyeshadow or foundation that you only use once before leaving home, it wouldn't be such a big deal. But lipstick is something you carry around all day and use frequently, so you can't ignore the case. It's fine to keep at home and use, but carrying it around is... problematic. It's also beautiful when used as a cream blush on the cheeks! As a winter cool tone, I've been using lavender shades all the time, but I was getting tired of how similar all the winter cool tone blushes were. This one is subtly different and gorgeous! It has a slight purple tint, but it's not a light purple - it's more of a grayish purple. Yet it has a hint of reddish pink, so it doesn't look dull or dark. It's perfect as a blush. The balance between a subtle liveliness and calmness is just right. It's so convenient and simple to apply the lipstick to your lips and then dab a bit on your cheeks - the result is absolutely stunning! The color works wonderfully as both a lip color and a blush, giving a cohesive and effortlessly beautiful look. This versatility makes it a great 2-in-1 product for those days when you want a quick, coordinated makeup look.
