  Pros

  The ingredients are great! I've used other aloe gels in tub packaging before, but their ingredients weren't the best, which was disappointing. I still used them on my body though. When I was searching for a new aloe gel on Hwahae, I discovered this product and immediately bought it because of its excellent ingredients. It's really moisturizing! Being a gel, it's definitely hydrating. It also helps soothe body acne.

  Cons

  It dries out too quickly. Compared to other aloe gels, this one seems to dry faster. In winter, using this product alone might not be enough for hydration, so I'll need to apply an emulsion as well.

  Tip

  While not exactly a pro tip, I ordered one aloe gel and received a ton of samples. I really appreciated that they included so many free samples.

  Pros

  The Hwahae Testers review: The most basic function of aloe gel is its cooling effect, and I felt my face temperature drop immediately after applying this product! Recently, the sun has been extremely bright, so I applied it to areas where I felt heat, and it instantly reduced redness! I also applied it to my dad, and it seemed to help with his redness too! As the name 'soothing gel' suggests, you can feel the hydration the moment you apply it! I loved how it wasn't greasy and seemed to cling to my face, absorbing well! There are no harmful ingredients, and you can really feel the absence of them! I have super sensitive skin that reacts to even slightly incompatible products, but I had no issues while using this one! You can apply it multiple times without feeling burdened! It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel sticky after drying.

  Cons

  The downside is that it's not very moisturizing. While it feels nicely hydrating when applied due to its good absorption, it dries out after just 5 minutes. Even with multiple applications, the moisture seems to evaporate quickly. Due to the lack of moisturizing power, I tried mixing it with other hydrating products, but strangely, this aloe gel doesn't blend well with other products... It might be difficult to use in combination with something else. While it's very helpful in reducing redness, because it dries easily, my face becomes itchy after applying this aloe gel. I think it needs a bit more richness.

  Tip

  I think it would be good to lock in moisture with a more hydrating product after applying the aloe gel, before it fully dries! Although it's safe to apply multiple times, when it dries out it can make your skin itchy, so I really hope you use it together with a product that can provide hydration! For redness caused by sun exposure, I found it very effective to use a lot of aloe gel like a mask on your face! After doing an aloe gel mask, don't forget to follow up with a hydrating product!
