The scent is supposed to be sweet fig, but to me it's more of a sweet, cozy coconut fragrance. Interestingly, my mom feels the same way! Our male housemate, on the other hand, only smells grass and doesn't detect any sweetness at all. As for me, I'm a big fan! I absolutely love it. The warm, comforting scent feels like it's melting away all my stress. As a body emulsion, it performs quite well too. It has decent hydration and a rich feel. The scent lingers beautifully - when I make the bed in the morning, the bedding still has a subtle fragrance, and even my pajamas retain the scent. The pump works smoothly, and I must say, it looks quite charming standing in the bathroom. If I had to nitpick, I suppose the price could be an issue? But honestly, the scent is identical to the perfume and lasts just as long. I'm also quite satisfied with how moisturizing and hydrating it is. In the depths of winter, after applying the emulsion, I mix a bit of oil with it and apply it to areas that need extra hydration like knees and elbows - it works wonders! I've decanted some into a travel-sized container to use as a hand cream, and it releases fragrance just as well as a perfume. - 72****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsJul 12, 2021
While the scent is quite polarizing, if you're a fan of sweet fig fragrances, this one's to die for. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of Philosykos. It falls short in its primary function (in this case, 'hydration'). This seems to be a common trend not just with Diptyque, but with most brands that specialize in fragrances. Then again, if hydration is your top priority, there's hardly a more rational choice than heading to Olive Young and picking up some Cetaphil. Try mixing it with an unscented emulsion like Cetaphil for better results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 10, 2020
The fragrance is incredibly captivating. I usually don't bother with body emulsions, but I find myself applying this one regularly because of its delightful scent. Unfortunately, after application, I experienced a reaction similar to side effects, with some kind of rash appearing on my legs. It applies smoothly and evenly. - fo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2020
The scent is identical to the perfume, but it might be a bit too strong for applying all over the body Being an emulsion, its moisturizing capabilities don't seem particularly impressive
