As my first toner, I'm not entirely sure, but it definitely seemed to reduce oiliness when applied It was just okay. I gifted this to my younger sibling who's always struggled with oily skin and blemishes. It applies so lightly and refreshingly that even my sibling, who usually hates putting anything on their face, is using it regularly! The ingredients seem great for calming the skin too. It's low in oil content and perfect for daily use! I'm still using it regularly and loving it! I've noticed my skin becoming less oily over time. For the first 2-3 weeks, I didn't see much change. It's great how it's water-like and absorbs well into the skin. The scent is slightly herbal, reminiscent of fresh plants. There's not really anything to complain about. The emulsion has an ointment-like scent, but the toner has a clean and pleasant fragrance. I definitely noticed a reduction in excess sebum, though the change wasn't dramatic. Using just the toner and emulsion from this line feels slightly drying during this season. As a teenager with extremely oily and combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, I got to try Viva Plus products through a Facebook event. The texture is incredibly lightweight, like water, with absolutely no stickiness. However, when applied alone, there's a slight tightening sensation. To combat this, I layer a bit of cream from another brand on drier areas. Since using this product, I've noticed a significant reduction in blemishes and oil production. While the cooler weather might be a factor, my skin has genuinely improved. I've been receiving many compliments on my skin lately! The little bumps I used to feel when washing my face have completely disappeared. I'm 100% committed to repurchasing once I run out. I'm truly satisfied! The scent is neutral - sort of a 'healthy' fragrance? Not bad at all! If you have oily, blemish-prone skin, I highly recommend this! As mentioned earlier, if you have combination dehydrated skin and only use the Viva Plus product, your face might feel a bit tight. In that case, it's good to layer a bit of your usual emulsion on the drier areas!

I wish it had a pump so I could apply it directly to my face. I don't use cotton pads, so I pour it into my palm and pat it on. It would be better if I could spray it directly on my face. The completely watery texture is a bit inconvenient.
