However, I've recently changed my approach and incorporated this product, noticing significant improvements. 1. My routine: After patting in toner 3-5 times, I apply a non-sticky, fast-absorbing Vitamin C serum evenly (see my other review). Then, I use Dr.G Black Snail Cream for hydration, followed by a thin layer of Herbal Aloe Soothing Gel to lock in moisture. I ensure proper absorption between each step. Finally, this product helps control any excess oil, leaving my skin moisturized inside and matte outside. 2. I prefer using a brush to apply a thin layer, then patting it in with a dense, adhesive puff. This method seems to improve longevity. 3. Despite being a fixing product, the thin brush application allows for easy layering or spot concealing where needed. It wears off beautifully without darkening. Ultimately, the effectiveness of a product depends on your skincare routine, application method, and skin type. It's crucial to experiment and find what works best for you.
Cons1. The included puff doesn't seem to work well with the product. Using it makes my skin look thick, and being a fixing product, powder particles can settle into pores and fine lines, especially around the nose. 2. The mesh design of the puff can lead to over-dispensing, so be careful with product amount control.
TipA solid skincare routine is crucial! I believe that well-hydrated skin is better equipped to handle irritation and aging, regardless of skin type. So, a thorough skincare routine is essential for everyone. Also, instead of the included puff, I recommend using a short-bristled, dense brush. Load it well with the product and apply in thin layers for best results!

I decided to buy this after seeing an Instagram ad. My first impression was amazing! I'm a fan of tension net cushions, and I recently used the Luna Pro tension cushion, which applied so evenly. The Magic Snow cushion also initially picked up beautifully on the puff, giving a gorgeous skin finish. Being a summer cushion, it seemed to control oil well too. While the Luna Pro cushion made my oily face even oilier and broke down quickly, this one lasted longer.
ConsHmm... the more I use it, the more disappointed I become. Where did that initial smooth application go? First off, the cushion develops deep grooves over time. The puff doesn't pick up product well anymore. With Luna, I could use the tension net right to the end, but with April Skin, the net seems to stretch out. I dislike this so much that I even took photos. Also, I've barely used half, but the puff gets dirty so quickly. The color seems to become dull... it really doesn't compare well to Luna. The way it breaks down is just so messy. It makes me want to go home, honestly. I've tried reapplying after removing everything with a cleansing tissue, but it still doesn't apply like it did at first. You really need to have a solid skincare routine underneath.
TipI won't be repurchasing. I'm only using what's left for touch-ups when leaving work.
