It leaves your skin feeling as soft and powdery as if you've just applied finishing powder. The immediate effect on your complexion is truly beautiful! Unfortunately, the staying power isn't as good as expected, and it tends to break down in a less-than-flattering way. At first, it might feel a bit dry, but as I kept using it, I got used to it. Now I don't notice that dryness anymore. What's great is that compared to other products, it doesn't cling to my skin, which I really appreciate! The coverage is a bit weak, which is slightly disappointing. However, I've recently changed my approach and incorporated this product, noticing significant improvements. 1. My routine: After patting in toner 3-5 times, I apply a non-sticky, fast-absorbing Vitamin C serum evenly (see my other review). Then, I use Dr.G Black Snail Cream for hydration, followed by a thin layer of Herbal Aloe Soothing Gel to lock in moisture. I ensure proper absorption between each step. Finally, this product helps control any excess oil, leaving my skin moisturized inside and matte outside. 2. I prefer using a brush to apply a thin layer, then patting it in with a dense, adhesive puff. This method seems to improve longevity. 3. Despite being a fixing product, the thin brush application allows for easy layering or spot concealing where needed. It wears off beautifully without darkening. Ultimately, the effectiveness of a product depends on your skincare routine, application method, and skin type. It's crucial to experiment and find what works best for you. 1. The included puff doesn't seem to work well with the product. Using it makes my skin look thick, and being a fixing product, powder particles can settle into pores and fine lines, especially around the nose. 2. The mesh design of the puff can lead to over-dispensing, so be careful with product amount control. A solid skincare routine is crucial! I believe that well-hydrated skin is better equipped to handle irritation and aging, regardless of skin type. So, a thorough skincare routine is essential for everyone. Also, instead of the included puff, I recommend using a short-bristled, dense brush. I love how it leaves a soft, matte finish. It feels wonderfully moisturizing when first applied. The way it evens out my complexion is beautiful. There's a bit of clinging to dead skin cells, and since I have dry skin, it quickly becomes dehydrating. It tends to accentuate flaky patches and make small blemishes more noticeable. I wish there was a lighter shade available. I usually use shade 21, but this cushion is darker than my natural skin tone. My friend saw this on Facebook and got it for me as a birthday gift. It's nice and powdery, and gives a radiant look. The scent is quite pleasant too. I'd recommend it for touch-ups. It adheres well even with a thin layer, and without touch-ups, my skin looks even smoother by evening. I love how it seems to make my complexion appear better! While I don't have any major complaints and continue to use it regularly, it's not exceptionally outstanding in terms of coverage. I find it works better when applied after concealer or other base products. At first, I was surprised by how light it applied, but after a short while, it adjusted to match my skin tone. It makes you look beautifully Hwahae-fied...? It feels soft and powdery when applied. The staying power... The coverage... But most importantly, it completely wrecked my skin. Bumpy blemishes popped up all red and itchy. I'm struggling to get my skin back to normal. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm leaving this for anyone who might have a similar bad reaction.

It cakes up terribly around the nose. Even on well-prepped skin with proper oil control, exfoliation, and hydration, it still does this. It's noticeably different from other cushions I've used. I fell for the advertising, unfortunately. The April Skin Black Cushion worked so well for me, so I bought this as a summer cushion option. It's such a disappointment and a waste of money. I already had a bright complexion, but this cushion naturally enhances it even more! It leaves my skin looking and feeling powder-fresh, without any caking around the nose or patchiness. It layers beautifully and doesn't feel drying at all. Just a word of caution - when you first use it, press gently! It can be a bit generous with product initially. The coverage isn't incredibly high, which is a bit disappointing. But aside from that, it seems pretty good!
