I received it as a gift and am using it, but the shape is not very comfortable.

The shape is unique.
The lip bar feels fresh and new.
The color is pretty, but the quantity is small.

The product packaging is pretty, but it's prone to fingerprints, which is a shame as it doesn't look as clean. 
Also, the total length of the lip bar is short (low product quantity).

The color comes in six shades, and when applied to the lips, the edges are seamless! It's a vibrant yet refreshing red. I haven't purchased a lipstick in a while, and I'm thoroughly satisfied with this one. I bought it on sale, but the original price seems a bit steep.

It transfers too much, so I can't use it when wearing a mask.

I bought this because the package and lipstick have multiple layers, which I found interesting, and I'm using it alright.

If I had to point out a downside, it's that while the lipstick was fine at first, the cap tends to come off easily after some use.

My lips had a pinkish tone that I really liked - it was a color that wasn't too overbearing. There was also no noticeable flaking, which was great. I found it looked even better when I used it as an accent color, applying it just to the inner part of my lips over a different base color.

I couldn't help but compare it to the Two-Tone Lip Bar that I used for a long time. While it's called a layering lip bar, I didn't really notice a significant difference from just applying a regular one-tone lipstick. It seems to emphasize the flakiness of my lips.
The lipstick is moisturizing, but after application, a lot of flakiness appears. 
And just like the Two-Tone Lip Bar, the price is high compared to the amount of product.
The longevity is average for a moisturizing lipstick.
I had expected it to be even better since the price went up, but I'm disappointed.

I used the Laneige Two-Tone Lip Bar for about 3-4 tubes before it was discontinued, and then I bought the layering lip bar.
The lipstick color is pink, but when applied, it seems to be more of a pink-tinted red.
As a warm-toned person, pure pink doesn't suit me well, but the red-toned color seems to match me well.

The pink tone is a bit off and doesn't suit my skin tone. I'm not sure if it layers well. When I apply it on moisturized lips, it doesn't spread on smoothly.

My natural lip color is a bit dark and dull. This product makes my lips look glossy and slightly fuller. When I apply it over a matte foundation, the color payoff and longevity are good. 
There is no feathering or emphasizing of lip lines.
