Rather than a perfect gradient, only the lightest part is noticeably lighter while the rest feels similar, which is a bit disappointing. However, it's a plus that you can achieve a gradient effect with just the lipstick, without needing to use your fingers or a brush. It's convenient for going out since you only need to bring one lipstick with you. Compared to matte formulas, it feels lacking in adherence and longevity. Also, the case tends to collect a lot of fingerprints. - ju*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2021
Although it's a matte lip product, it's not overly matte and has a nice lip balm-like feel. The best part is you don't need to do any gradient application! The scent isn't bad, but something feels off... It's like the fragrance doesn't quite suit the lips, you know? If you apply it over lip balm, you can use it without the matte effect and achieve just the right amount of moisture! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2019
The color from the Clio Mad Matte Lip Sensual Pepper is quite similar to what I get from my lips. But it may not be the same for others! You should try comparing them yourself sometime. I personally prefer a soft and smooth application, so this product suits me better. I saw a lot of YouTubers recommending the warm-toned shades from the Layering Lip Bar, so I decided to give it a try on the Aritaum website. There's usually a good reason behind people's recommendations, and this one proved to be true. The color is so pretty, it doesn't emphasize any flakiness, applies smoothly and leaves my lips feeling moisturized. I'm really happy with it! There are 7 cautionary ingredients in this... I came here to praise it, but now I feel a bit let down. Luckily, it still worked well on my lips. The only downside is that since I'm a bit clumsy, the 6 shades didn't come out evenly blended for me. But even when they clumped up a bit, the colors still looked nice and harmonious.
