I took the plunge and bought the Orchidée Impériale Black Cream, and I'm currently using it... There's definitely a unique sensation that penetrates about 3-4mm deep into the skin layers when applied. It's a special feeling I've never experienced with other creams. It's similar to how my skin feels after a facial massage at the Guerlain Spa in the Shilla Hotel - I always thought that was due to the expert touch, but it seems the product plays a role too. While it doesn't last as long as a professional spa treatment, the Black Cream is truly excellent. As someone with very dry skin, I usually experience deep dryness and skin tightness when I wake up, but since using this Black Cream, my skin's inner dryness has significantly decreased. I'm only two weeks in, so I'll use up the entire jar and post another review to share my long-term experience. The price is extremely high, making it difficult to use consistently. With my dry skin, a 50ml jar of cream usually doesn't last three months, but this Black Cream is so expensive that I'll probably only be able to use it once a year. For the remaining ten months, I'll have to make do with other products. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2019
I have dry skin and was using the Guerlain Orchidée line, but now I'm using the Black Cream. The Orchidée line itself is good, but the difference between using and not using the Black Cream is really significant. Of course, the moisturizing power is great, and my skin is glowing the next morning. The price is the issue😂 This cream has no downsides. Even though the refill is cheaper, you still have to use it sparingly. - ja******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2019
I was able to obtain a sample of Guerlain's Orchidée Noire cream and tried it, and I really enjoyed it. It seems even better than the Orchidée Bleue. You can also purchase the cream refill separately, although it is a bit pricey. I feel like it might be one of the most expensive creams out there, and I'm not sure if it's really that much better than the Orchidée Bleue. I'll have to try a full-size product to know for sure, but the astronomical price means I'll have to break into my savings to afford it...
