Sophisticated and luxurious scent! Perfect for autumn and winter. An urban and intellectual fragrance, ideal for important occasions. Musk can be polarizing, so testing is essential. It's an eau de parfum, rich and long-lasting. The scent lingers from morning till evening, so it's best to spray once on clothes rather than skin. While perfumes are a mix of various chemicals and can't be expected to be 'good' for you, this one seems particularly harsh. - rk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinApr 18, 2023
A signature scent I want to keep secret all to myself. The lingering fragrance is absolutely incredible, and it lasts for ages! Those who dislike heavy or intense fragrances might have mixed feelings about this one. - ji**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 6, 2021
While many people typically go for the pink Eau Tendre in the Chance line, I initially bought that too, but this orange one is the real deal. When you smell it, it's truly an orange scent, haha! It's rich and sweet, yet fresh, and doesn't miss that sophisticated, lingering quality. Among Chanel fragrances, this one feels somewhat youthful, energetic, and casual - though it's still Chanel, after all. I think I've gotten more 'What perfume are you wearing?' comments with this than with Coco Mademoiselle. I even remember an older bakery owner who was so intrigued, she asked for the exact product name! It's a shame more people don't know about this! If you're a fan of Coco Mademoiselle, you absolutely must try this one. - p_*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 28, 2020
The scent of my mother in my memories. As a child, I found it so strong and unpleasant that I avoided her right after she sprayed it... But while the initial fragrance is intense, I've always loved the lingering notes, both then and now! I couldn't imagine it as my own perfume, but after turning 20, I rediscovered it through Chanel's Chance bowling ad. However, despite the ad's vibrancy, it doesn't seem to suit those in their 20s just yet. I must acknowledge Chanel's signature lingering scent and longevity. It's a heavy floral fragrance that's hard to describe, but the amber note is definitely noticeable. To those who wear this, please just spray once... It makes people around you feel dizzy. If you spray it on your clothes the night before, it leaves a pleasant lingering scent in the morning. - tl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 19, 2020
This is my signature scent for life. The initial fragrance is intense, but the lingering scent is long-lasting and absolutely divine. Every man I encounter asks about this perfume. That alone speaks volumes about its quality! The initial scent is quite strong, which might feel a bit heavy for summer. You need to be careful not to overspray! The lingering scent is incredibly pleasant and lasts for ages. I love spraying it on the back of my neck and into the air before going out, then walking through the mist. It's simply my holy grail fragrance. - mi********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2020
The scent is like an eau de parfum, so it lasts a long time. I bought the 100ml size through direct purchase, and it's quite large with an incredibly strong fragrance. The scent diffuses well - one spray is enough. It's particularly intense at first, but the lingering scent afterwards is quite nice, which makes it worthwhile. When I sampled Chanel No. 5 before, I remember it being very strong too. This one is on par with that. Burberry perfumes are similarly intense. My mother prefers these types of strong scents more than I do and wears them often, but I find the lingering scent pleasant. There are other Chanel sample perfumes of various types, but in my opinion, Chance might be the best. The scent is quite strong, so some people dislike it. Especially those who, like me, prefer sweet fragrances like Lanvin or Vichy might find it even more off-putting. While perfume is usually applied to the skin, I prefer spraying it on clothes. I recommend this as the scent is released with every movement. The fragrance lasts longer on clothes than on skin, and even after a day, the lingering scent acts like an air freshener. - ro*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2019
When I was younger, I couldn't stand this scent, but as I've grown older, it's become more of a mature, feminine fragrance. At some point, I realized I actually love it now. When you first spray it, it can feel a bit strong... And yes, the price is quite steep. Don't spritz it right before going out. Apply it about 30 minutes to an hour before, and it's absolutely lovely. It really makes you feel like a sophisticated woman.
