T-zone oily, U-zone normal to dry / ❌: zinc oxide, ethanol / Prefer glow / Cool olive undertone / For a radiant look - shade 17, for a perfect match - shade 19 After getting burned by cushions and only using foundation, I came back to this due to masks.. and I love it.. 𝓛𝓞𝓥𝓔.. I know cosmetics can be hit or miss, but I dare to recommend this.. However, please don't blame me if it doesn't work for you.. Compared to my rather pink foundation, this felt more like Ivory 17 despite its name! Even compared to Hera Glow Foundation in Neutral, I didn't see much pink (note that this may vary depending on your skin tone). But when applied to the face, it looks as radiant as a pink-based and goes on sooo beautifully. When my skin is matte, it looked as bright as shade 13, but right after skincare, it goes on with just the right amount of radiance, probably because the skin is more hydrated. If you want a natural look or are darker than shade 17, you might want to try the next shade down. The puff is teardrop-shaped with good tension, which seems to pair excellently with the base! The inner part has a double lock, making it sturdy, but it can be a hassle to open and close frequently. It seems to have a semi-matte formula, so I, who often get cakey makeup in winter, plan to use it from spring to fall. Surprisingly, it doesn't dry out the skin. The adherence is also excellent, with only minimal transfer to the mask except for high-friction areas like cheeks and parts of the chin. I applied it carefully, but it's not the type to go on thick in the first place, so the skin looks clearer and the color appears more beautiful. Even with multiple layers, it doesn't get thick! I tend to get severe caking/pilling with masks, but with this, there's only slight caking even after touch-ups, which I like. It's impressive for a product made before the pandemic. The staying power is great too!! There's no darkening, and as time passes, it blends naturally with the skin to the point where I wondered what was happening.. A remarkable product that has captured this glow-chaser's heart. Since I only wear makeup once or twice a week due to mask-related blemishes, I'm not sure if this product causes any issues.. So far, it seems fine! No itching on the face either. As many have mentioned, they don't sell refills or separate puffs, which is frustrating! The regular price is a bit high. Those who used high-end products might find it relatively affordable! For me, it's a bit burdensome.. I'll wait for sales. The coverage is not great! I'm fine with low coverage as long as it adheres well and enhances skin texture, but if you want coverage, use a concealer or look for other products. Buying this is.. a pro tip.. - 01*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 16, 2020
1. The case is absolutely gorgeous 2. It has a double-locking mechanism, keeping the cushion moist until the very end 3. It's wonderfully hydrating 4. There's a wide range of colors to choose from As someone with dry skin, I'm using this as my summer cushion foundation~! I don't usually wear heavy makeup, so I'm using it for a light, natural look. I'm using shade 21, but I actually bought the lightest color available. It might look a bit bright in the morning, but as the day goes on, it blends perfectly with my complexion without making my face look floaty or unnatural! I'm really satisfied with this product. 1. It's on the pricier side 2. No refills available 3. The coverage is quite sheer I wouldn't recommend this for those with lots of blemishes or those who prefer full coverage makeup due to its light coverage. However, if you love a natural, translucent look, this is absolutely perfect for you! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2020
It applies incredibly thinly, and I love that it comes in shade 17. It seems to be marketed as an affordable alternative to the NARS cushion, and I'd say it's very similar. Highly recommended! As it applies so thinly, the coverage isn't particularly strong. - ce*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2020
I absolutely love this product! While the coverage might be a bit light, I don't need much coverage for spots anyway. It makes my skin look incredibly good and the staying power is impressive. You only need a tiny amount for a thin application, which gives a fresh, innocent look. I'll definitely repurchase this, no doubt about it! There's nothing bad to say, I'm so satisfied! Oh, well, maybe the price is a bit high. And it's a shame there are no refills available. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 8, 2019
This cushion is a game-changer for those of us who've been nomads in the makeup world, unable to find the right shade. As someone with extremely dry skin that used to crack, I had to mix oil into my base makeup. But this? It keeps my skin moisturized without any flaking. The beautiful case is a delightful bonus - opening it brings joy every time. The puff has great elasticity, adhering perfectly to the skin. At first, I found the twist-open case a bit awkward, but once I got used to it, it somehow feels cleaner and like it keeps the product fresher. The lack of refills or spare puffs is disappointing. The puff is so good that I wish they'd sell it separately, but they don't. Honestly, if asked whether I'd buy it again, I probably would because I can't find anything better. The price might seem a bit high at first, but considering the struggle of finding the right shade, it's worth it. Just remember to lock the lid properly, or it won't close. For cool-toned pale skin, I absolutely recommend this without hesitation. The coverage is so-so, so if you have a lot of blemishes, I suggest using a concealer first and then applying this cushion over it. It works like magic, blending everything seamlessly for a natural finish. - at******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 21, 2019
1. The case is beautiful 2. The dual-lock mechanism prevents the cushion from drying out 3. It's moisturizing 4. I ordered shade 22 and it's a perfect match for my skin. I like that there's a wider range of shades compared to regular cushions 5. The application is incredibly smooth 6. It adheres well to the skin even after multiple layers, without feeling heavy 7. The water drop-shaped puff makes application easy 8. It's great for touch-ups without caking or separating 1. It's expensive and there are no refills available. They say there are no plans for refills yet... I bought it on sale for around $20, but the regular price is almost $40 2. The coverage is light, so you need to apply multiple layers for better results 3. Due to hot weather, it breaks down quickly, making touch-ups necessary 4. It can look a bit greasy when it starts to break down The ingredients in this cushion are pretty standard for this type of product. It worked well for my sensitive skin without any major issues. I've listed the pros and cons briefly as they came to mind. I've included photos (though I'm a bit embarrassed) for an objective view. The order is: after skincare - one layer - three layers. As mentioned above, the coverage isn't particularly high. If you're looking for more coverage, a concealer is a must! I used one later too. However, if you prefer a natural look, you might really like this. It's moisturizing enough to feel comfortable on the skin and is better suited for dry or combination skin types rather than oily. Oh, it would be great for combination dehydrated skin too! For a perfect finish, you could apply it for hydration and then use a finishing powder in the last step. Lastly, as someone who always overthinks cushion purchases, I read every blog post I could find about this product on Naver. Most reviews are for shade 17, so make sure to look for your specific shade. Keep in mind that some reviews might be sponsored. If you're the type who doesn't mind trying products that might not work out, go for it. In conclusion, I'll probably repurchase this for now, as I haven't found a more satisfying product yet...
