I used to only use Cl×o eyeliner, but after watching a YouTuber's eyeliner comparison video, I decided to give this one a try. It's slimmer than Cl×o's, making it perfect for drawing clean lines at the inner corners and outer edges of the eyes. Once applied, the staying power is pretty good unless you rub it immediately! I bought two of these, but despite being careful not to extend too much product at once to prevent breakage due to its thinness, I encountered issues. When trying to retract the liner, it wouldn't go back in, and later it stopped coming out altogether. As a result, I barely used one of the two I purchased before it became unusable. While Cl×o's waterproof liner does smudge a bit under the eyes after some time, this product not only smudges but also leaves some unsightly residue as it wears off. Don't extend too much product during each use! It runs out faster than expected, and the price point isn't particularly attractive. - i6*******Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 24, 2025
They say it has pearl, but it's not noticeable. Just think of it as a nice, neutral brown shade. Sometimes it doesn't apply smoothly. Also, be careful not to extend it too much as it might break. - th*******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2024
Among pencil eyeliners, this one had the least smudging! After using brush-tip liners for so long, I switched to this pencil for a more natural look. It's not exactly firm, so it occasionally breaks while I'm applying it. That's the most disappointing part! - me********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2024
Great value for money and above-average product performance To be honest, I think most eyeliners are pretty similar If you're not looking for the trendy light shades that are popular these days Merzy seems to be a great choice in terms of affordability It doesn't even smudge, which is impressive No downsides to mention An excellent product that delivers both quality and value for money - eu*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 27, 2024
Color: Brown Quartz is a cool deep brown-khaki shade. On the back of the hand, you can see tiny gold pearl particles, but they're barely noticeable when applied to the eyes. It really defines the eyes, which I'm very pleased with. Texture, Application, and Pigmentation: The eyeliner has a medium to hard texture, but it glides on smoothly without irritating or scratching the eye area. Despite being ultra-slim, it rarely breaks, so you can use it until the end if you only extend the right amount. I'm very satisfied with this. The pigmentation is also good, delivering full color in one stroke. Longevity: It doesn't smudge, so the staying power is excellent. Some creamy eye pencils tend to smear easily due to eye area oils or tears, but the Merge slim, with its harder texture, maintains a clean line all day long without smudging, even on my monolids. I'm extremely satisfied. I've tried high-end brands like Cha*, Bobby Br*, Di*, and M*, which all smudged, but Merge doesn't, so I keep repurchasing it. The only downside is that being ultra-slim, the product quantity is really small. That's why I usually stock up on two or three at a time. - gu*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 29, 2023
The application and staying power are quite nice. The color is also lovely. Since it's quite thin, it seems to break easily. After using it a few times, some product waste starts to come out. - nh*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 21, 2023
The Merge eyeliner I always use is truly amazing. It doesn't smudge at all, it's easy to apply, and creates a nice thin line. It's been a game-changer after using gel eyeliners with brushes. You need to extend the pencil very little at a time as it tends to break easily, unfortunately. - la*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 13, 2023
As expected from a popular product, it worked well for my warm skin tone. Despite my extremely oily skin, I don't recall it smudging even after long wear. Whether the quantity was too small or it broke easily, the usage period was disappointingly short. - tj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessMay 31, 2023
It's thin and compact, making it perfect for carrying in your purse. It even fits into tiny bags! The subtle shimmer doesn't overpower, so the color is quite nice. I'm not sure if it's just me, but it breaks every time I use it. It seems to crumble or snap more often than I can actually apply it. - ek**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedOct 14, 2022
First off, it's incredibly thin, making it easy to fill in the waterline. I was initially concerned about the shimmer, but it's surprisingly subtle - that's a win! The slim, lightweight design makes it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. In the second photo, you can see the result after applying, waiting a minute, then rubbing in one direction with my finger. It's fascinating how it only removes from the surface without smudging. While I'm truly satisfied with the color, I'm puzzled by the inclusion of shimmer. Why add shimmer to an eyeliner? I'd prefer it without the sparkle. I've included a thickness comparison shot with the Merzy The First Gel Eyeliner for reference.
