Pros* Reason for purchase
I was drawn to that sleek pearl glow of Filltouch...
Even though I don't usually do highlighter, here I go again...!
* Skin type
13 shade, dry skin, but becomes an oily mess with sweat festival in summer.
* Pearl effect
Basically, it has a glossy sheen with small, noticeable pearl specks scattered throughout.
Personally, I'm not a fan of large pearls, but these didn't bother me much.
If you dislike visible pearl specks, go for Cle de Peau.
It's primarily silver, but under flash photography, other colors are visible.
Of course, that's only when examining the highlighter closely. From the front, it appears as a silver with a hint of lukewarm pink + whitish highlighter.
No cyborg vibes or end-of-the-world warrior princess look.
* Color payoff
Oh... the old version had the color payoff I wanted...
The newer Filltouch releases have such intense base colors that shade 13 is unusable.
It's like forced hangover makeup.
And there's a subtle coral tint, so it's not purely pink.
Ironically, Benefique's T'eclat has a cooler lavender-pink base.
* Application
I apply it over powder using my fingertips.
Just on the bridge of the nose, inner corners of eyes, and tip of the nose. Gotta protect those chubby cheeks...☆
Applied over powder, there's no flaking and barely any visible pores.
Blend on the back of your hand first to control the amount, otherwise you might end up with intense redness.
ConsThe base color is too intense... Stop the redness...
Very difficult to use up to shade 17, and 19 is also tricky.
Probably best suited for shade 21 and up.
TipFor a natural look, rub it with your fingertip, adjust the amount on the back of your hand, then apply with a quick swipe.
