I love how luxurious and substantial this lipstick feels! It's perfect for gifting to friends and family. As expected with lipsticks, the staying power seems a bit weak. Also, the price point is disappointingly high. It pairs beautifully with warm-toned eye makeup! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2020
I've been a huge fan of Tom Ford lipsticks ever since I discovered them. The colors are vibrant and sophisticated, with a slight orange undertone that looks absolutely luxurious. The price is wickedly high... That's why I recommend purchasing them at duty-free shops. If you apply a moisturizing lip primer on top, it lasts even longer without fading. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2020
This product doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much and has a gorgeous color. If you're a fan of red-orange shades, this could easily become your holy grail item. The luxurious packaging is also incredibly appealing. The price, of course, is the downside. A single lip product costs almost as much as a high-end cushion foundation. It's quite expensive, but it might be worth treating yourself to it at least once. - pu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 12, 2020
This is by far the best lipstick I've ever used! My lips have a deep undertone with little natural color, but this shade complements them perfectly. It's versatile - a light application works for everyday wear, while a bolder look is stunning for special occasions. The texture is incredibly smooth, which justifies its price point. I bought it duty-free and I'm so thrilled that I had to leave a review. The packaging is beautiful too. As someone who usually struggles to find the right lipstick, I'm already tempted to repurchase! The only downside is the price. I'd love to buy it again, but it's quite expensive. While it might be challenging to pay full price, I must say it's a lipstick that's worth splurging on at least once. It looks great even with a bare face, making it suitable for any occasion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 5, 2020
I took the plunge and bought this vibrant orange-red shade, and I used it a lot initially! It's a perfect warm-toned orange-red that really complements my complexion! The application is smooth and it has a lovely glow! It's moderately soft and creamy, so those who prioritize staining power or long-lasting wear might not be too keen on it. However, for those who love moisturizing lipsticks, this is an absolute must-have! Strangely, as time passed, I found myself using it less and less. If you don't exfoliate properly, it tends to clump and flake off quickly, which is disappointing. - li********Combination SkinJan 14, 2020
Smooth application and great staining power! Tom Ford definitely nails those luxurious shades. Some say Yves Saint Laurent does color well, but nah. When you consider how it actually applies and stains, Tom Ford is the king. Of course, with that price tag, it better deliver! Wild Ginger fell victim to my laziness... I was too lazy to go to the department store, so I ordered it to my office. Surprisingly, it's more of a pink-tinted red compared to what I saw on blogs and the official website. If I had to break it down, it's like 80% red, 15% pink, and 5% orange. The photo makes it look more coral, but in reality, it's quite ambiguous. Personally, pink-tinted reds don't suit me, so I'm having a meltdown... I can excuse the blog posts, but what's up with the official website images? If you're aiming for an orange-red, you should first apply an apricot or tangerine-colored lip as a base before layering this on top. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 11, 2019
I decided to buy this after seeing it referred to as the 'Hermès of lipsticks' online. The case is indeed luxurious. Unfortunately, it's excessively pricey, accentuates dead skin cells, has poor longevity, and the color payoff is underwhelming. There seem to be many better products available at more affordable price points.
