It absorbs like a massage oil but without the messy dripping of regular oils. The gel texture is convenient and effectively removes makeup too. It feels a bit rough when you first start massaging it in, so you need to rub for quite a while. Can be a bit of a hassle when you're tired... - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2022
As someone with dry skin, I usually experience intense tightness after cleansing. But with this product, my skin actually feels better post-wash. While I might hesitate with other pricey items, I never think twice about buying this. I've been using it for years now. Admittedly, it's a brand with a hefty price tag. I used to stock up at duty-free shops, but honestly, this product is worth every penny. - bo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2021
When you gently massage it in, it softly melts away all your makeup without any irritation! While the volume is generous, it's true that the price is higher compared to other brands. Still, I'm willing to repurchase it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 13, 2020
Being an oil type, it's great at removing sebum from the nose. After cleansing with this, my face feels so moisturized without any tightness - I love it! I've tried various Chanel skincare products, but this is the one I keep repurchasing. The only downside to Chanel cosmetics would be the price, wouldn't it? - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2020
Gentle, moisturizing, and worth repurchasing. While the cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong, it's still effective. Though the cleansing power isn't intense, there's not much to complain about. It's well-suited for dry skin types. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2020
Comes with an exfoliating gauze pad Pleasant fragrance Gentle on the skin The price Why do I need to write more than 20 characters to submit this? Just filling space now. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 9, 2019
This oil-based cleanser effectively removes makeup and becomes incredibly soft and gentle when it comes in contact with your body temperature. There's a subtle scent reminiscent of Chanel cosmetics. I appreciate the large size and the included cleansing cloth. Notably, it leaves your skin feeling less dry compared to other cleansers. While I haven't tested it on heavy makeup myself, store staff claim it effectively removes even their intense makeup looks. It's non-irritating and quite mild on the skin. The price is absolutely wicked. I bought it hoping for a high-quality product despite the cost, but the value for money seems quite low (especially considering how good modern cosmetics are). While it leaves the skin less dry after use, there's an odd feeling as if it hasn't been fully cleansed - almost like a silicone film covering your face. This made me reluctant to use it. When I consulted a store employee, they advised to massage and roll it for longer, and to continue rolling even after adding water. This improved the experience, but still, the return on investment - both in terms of money and time/effort - is disappointing. Following the correct usage method is crucial for effectiveness. After applying to your face, massage thoroughly for an extended period - perhaps 3 to 5 minutes? Finish by lightly wetting your hands and giving a final massage before rinsing off. This leaves your skin feeling much fresher. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2019
It's as good as its devilishly high price suggests. There's no tightness after cleansing. The price is wickedly high. It would be nice if they could bring it down a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2018
The texture is light and easy to use. It's good, but I can't quite put my finger on why... The price is on the higher side. After use, it leaves my skin feeling a bit dry. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 28, 2018
This is my go-to cleansing product for removing makeup. In my teens and early twenties, I used harsh products to combat blemishes, which left my skin super sensitive. One day, I stumbled upon this cleanser at a sink and decided to give it a try - it was a total game-changer! It's incredibly gentle, causing zero irritation, and it transformed my skin texture beautifully. At that time, my blemishes had mostly cleared up, and I was focusing on scar treatment and combating deep dryness. Finding this product felt like a stroke of luck! There's a reason I only use this product when I'm wearing makeup. As I mentioned, it works wonders for my sensitive skin, but I have combination dehydrated skin that's prone to small bumps and inflamed blemishes if not cared for properly. I can't just use any product carelessly. Surprisingly, this cleanser didn't agree with my blemish-prone skin at first. After years without any inflamed blemishes, I unfortunately developed a painful one the day after using this product. I stopped using it for a while, but when my skin cleared up and I hadn't had blemishes for years, I decided to give it another shot. This time, it worked great! I think my skin type may have changed as I've gotten older. Still, due to lingering concerns, I only use it when I'm wearing makeup. In conclusion, based on my personal experience, I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily, blemish-prone skin. For those with dry and sensitive skin, I highly recommend it! When you visit the store, they'll provide instructions on how to use the product. Make sure to follow those cleansing guidelines carefully.
