It actually feels like it helps calm them down.
ConsAlmost no coverage. Often looks patchy. Tends to break down easily. Limited shade range.

It's lightweight yet provides good coverage.
ConsWhile the initial skin appearance is lovely, when it breaks down, it settles into every pore. It's like each pore gets surrounded by a tiny circle. Looking closely might give you trypophobia. As time passes, excessive oil comes through. Even with constant powder touch-ups, the oil keeps flooding through.
TipThis might be suitable for those with invisible pores or those who don't produce much oil.

ConsIt seems to have a strong yellow undertone and breaks down into an ashy color.

As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I always struggled with both oiliness and flakiness when retouching my makeup. But this cushion is so hydrating that it doesn't cake nearly as much. It's super moisturizing, though that means the coverage isn't the strongest. Due to its rich formula, it might not be ideal for long-wear or summer use, but it's great for touch-ups! I'd recommend this to those with dry skin, anyone who hates cakey touch-ups, or people who already have nice skin and just want a beautiful finish. These days, I apply a different foundation first, then use this cushion for on-the-go touch-ups, and I find this method works really well for me.
ConsI was a bit disappointed with the staying power and coverage. While it might last better in winter, it seems to break down easily with oil and sweat in the summer. On the bright side, it's so hydrating that it cakes less than other products during touch-ups, which is great! Even when it does start to wear off, it fades gracefully. The coverage is the main letdown though - I'd say it's only light to medium at best.

After researching many blog reviews, I finally selected this cushion and have been using it for about six months. Before trying this cushion, I was looking for one that wouldn't irritate sensitive skin, which is how I discovered the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Cushion. First, here are the things I liked about this cushion (please note that my review is entirely subjective, and experiences may vary from person to person): 1. Suitable for sensitive skin Despite my super sensitive skin, I found this cushion comfortable to use without any irritation. After cleansing, my skin condition wasn't as bad as I expected! 2. Leaves a moisturized finish Since I have dry skin and wanted a slightly dewy look, I intentionally chose a hydrating product. I appreciated how it left my skin with a slightly glowy finish due to its moisturizing properties. 3. Cooling effect that soothes skin As someone prone to facial flushing, I felt a slight cooling sensation when applying this product. The cushion's cooling effect helped calm my heated skin, making application more comfortable. 4. Adheres naturally to the skin I found that using a small amount of product without layering multiple times resulted in a natural look.
ConsAs for the drawbacks (based on my skin type): 1. Transfers easily I noticed it transferred quite a bit when my skin came into contact with masks or phones. 2. Breaks down quickly In my experience, it seemed to break down after just an hour or two. 3. Dries out easily Even in summer weather, I felt my skin becoming dry underneath when my face heated up. Despite touch-ups, I often felt a sense of dryness. 4. Weak coverage As expected from a moisturizing cushion product, the coverage is somewhat limited. It might be a good idea to use concealer after applying the cushion to cover blemishes or pigmentation.
TipIf you have a similar skin type to mine, I recommend establishing a solid skincare routine before applying makeup! Otherwise, you might experience dryness like I did. Also, if you want to improve the longevity of the product, try setting the cushion with powder after application!

ConsThe coverage is a bit weak, and it seems to break down significantly by the afternoon.
TipApplying multiple pumps with the cushion helps the makeup adhere better.

ConsHowever, as time passes, it tends to lift and if your base isn't really solid, it starts to break down, revealing blemishes (powder compact is a must). While it may vary depending on skin type, it's not bad for everyday use.

When your skin is dry, it helps with dead skin cells and evens skin tone. When applied, it gives a dewy glow effect! ✔️Color I have a moderately fair warm-toned complexion, but due to redness, pink-based products don't suit me well. The Cica-Pair cushion feels closer to a yellow base than pink, but not entirely yellow-based, which seems to work well for my skin. ✔️Application I'm not sure if it's the cushion puff that's good, but it applies evenly and thoroughly. It feels like it's being applied densely, like directly placing the product on the skin, without leaving puff marks. And it applies thinly! This cushion might be perfect for those who prefer glow and hydration over coverage.
Cons✔️Coverage With one application, it feels like it just evens out the skin tone. You need to layer it two or three times to slightly cover small blemishes and pores. However, if you're aiming for transparent-looking skin rather than covering many blemishes, this might not necessarily be a drawback. ✔️Longevity On my combination dehydrated skin, oil starts to seep through as time passes. When my skin condition isn't good, it breaks down quickly and feels like it's separating from the skin. If you try to touch up in this state, it becomes messier. In terms of longevity, it doesn't seem to excel.
TipI think it would work well when used together with a slightly drier, high-coverage cushion like Espoir's Taping Cushion.

I'd recommend this for those who want a translucent, radiant complexion!
ConsI wouldn't recommend this to those who prioritize coverage. It seems to break down quickly after some time. I naturally have skin prone to small blemishes, so it might be a reaction, but when I apply this, it feels like more blemishes surface.

I liked that it applied lightly without feeling thick. It's quite moisturizing and didn't seem to irritate my skin much, so I was satisfied.
ConsThe adherence seems to be lacking. It feels like it's sitting on top of the skin rather than blending in. After a while, I noticed dead skin cells becoming more visible around my nose area. It tends to break down easily, requiring constant touch-ups, but the problem is that touching up makes it look even more cakey. Despite the poor adherence, it wasn't a bad product overall.
