As someone with dry skin, I've been struggling with excess sebum production lately and blackheads on my nose. Longing for that smooth, velvety skin texture, I decided to give this a try. After just one use, I felt that coveted smoothness for a few days! It stings, unfortunately. Those of us with super sensitive skin need to be extra cautious. The tingling sensation persists until your skin adapts. I'm starting to think it might be better to avoid using it altogether. Perfect for those with resilient skin! - in*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2022
The application and absorption are smooth. After applying, it removes dead skin cells all over the face, leaving it soft and supple. Since it's an AHA product, you should only apply it at night. Some people might experience a tingling sensation right after application. - je*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 26, 2022
I'm hooked on the Farmacy cleansing balm and have been using it consistently. Since it's a bit pricey, I was intrigued when I received several samples of this product. It comes in single-use packaging, perfect for on-the-go use! It's a yellow serum that absorbs well, but it does tingle when applied! Those with super sensitive skin might find it even more intense. After a while, the tingling subsides, and if you follow up with a regenerating or moisturizing cream, you'll wake up to improved skin texture. Your skin becomes incredibly smooth! Although it's designed for home care, it's quite effective, so I tend to apply more on my T-zone and cheeks. It might not suit extremely sensitive skin types. Your skin improves as you gradually adapt to it. Using it once or twice a week is ideal. You can increase frequency as your skin adapts, but it's not recommended for sensitive skin. It's more suitable for those with thicker skin. Remember, you'll see improvements the next day. Apply a hydrating product afterwards and get some rest! For normal skin types, this alone provides enough hydration, except during the colder months. - ha*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2022
While I don't typically struggle with dead skin cells, spring always makes me a bit conscious about it. After trying the Honey Halo cream and loving it, I decided to give this a go. 1) The design, true to Farmacy's line, is quite luxurious and the bottle is surprisingly light. The pump makes it convenient to use, but be careful - if you press too hard, it might spray further than your hand! On the bright side, this pump design allows you to use up every last bit of product efficiently. 2) It applies beautifully. It feels moisturizing and silky smooth when you put it on. It absorbs quickly, so even those with oily skin can use it without worry. There's no stickiness or greasiness, making it suitable for dry skin too! 3) There's a slight tingling sensation upon application, but for me, it didn't last long. It disappears when I apply cream after serum. Using it 2-3 times a week, it didn't bother me much. 4) Despite the tingling, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation. 5) When I wake up, my skin feels slightly smoother and has a subtle sheen, suggesting the product is delivering on its promise of a glow effect. 6) It lasts longer than expected. 7) Using this along with Honey Halo during seasonal changes or winter really improves my skin by morning. As good as the product is... 1) The scent, while not overpowering, is unlike any I've encountered in skincare before. It dissipates after application, but those sensitive to fragrances might want to reconsider. 2) The initial tingling sensation might be a concern for those with extremely sensitive skin. 3) The price is pretty steep! It's quite expensive, which is why I'm deducting a star. Using this in combination with the Honey Halo cream yields amazing results! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 5, 2022
I've been focusing on dead skin cell care due to acne, so I immediately bought and tried this cream that claims to automatically exfoliate while you sleep. What I loved was that despite feeling rich, it didn't feel suffocating or sticky. Instead, it felt like it was melting into my skin, which was amazing! Also, it has a strong ginseng scent, reminiscent of herbal medicine, but I found it quite pleasant. At first, I thought my acne might disappear, but then small bumps started appearing on my forehead. Soon after, the skin around my mouth became irritated too, and I really struggled with it. I highly recommend trying a tester first and carefully reading reviews before purchasing. While I usually respond well to exfoliating ingredients, this cream was challenging for me, perhaps due to its rich texture. - yh**Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2021
I was curious about this product due to its great reviews, and as someone who loves chemical exfoliation, I found it quite satisfying! When applied, there's a slight tingling sensation, and the next morning, you can definitely feel that dead skin cells have been smoothed away. It's such a comfort when your face feels rough! While it's not completely free of irritation, if you're a fan of AHA and BHA, it's suitable for daily use. The best part is that you can really feel the effects the next day! There's a slight burning sensation when applied, so if you have super sensitive skin, it's absolutely essential to do a patch test first! Remove any moisture from your face and apply a thin layer using just one pump for the entire face! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 3, 2021
After using a sample, my skin felt so smooth and amazing the next day that I immediately bought it. It seems like a product you can use confidently when your skin is already in a relatively healthy state. To see the best results, it's crucial to apply it and then get a good night's sleep at the right time. If you apply it and pull an all-nighter or only get a few hours of sleep, your skin might actually become red and sensitive. It's a no-go during daytime. You might end up with a dead skin cells explosion and super sensitive skin if you're not careful. (It seems to create more dead skin cells as a side effect if it's just dissolving without regenerating). Anyway, if used correctly, it gently dissolves dead skin cells and dramatically improves skin texture. You should probably use it while paying attention to maintaining your skin condition, similar to how you'd use retinol. Since I tend to develop acute dermatitis after applying makeup, I can only use this product the day after. If you apply it when your skin is sensitive or has inflammation or wounds, it can sting like you've applied rubbing alcohol and your skin might freak out. This product doesn't have the signature sweet scent like the Honey Halo or Honey Potion from the same line. It's just focused on conditioning. Due to the acidic ingredients, it has a sour smell that isn't particularly pleasant. You should probably buy and try it, but for those who find it too stinging, don't apply this right after your toner. Instead, try applying toner -> moisturizer, and then use this product last. It might be a bit better that way. - ao*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 2, 2021
When I apply a thin layer before bed occasionally (about once every 1-2 weeks for me), my skin texture feels remarkably improved the next morning The formula is quite strong, and you can see many users here reporting that it doesn't suit them. It's not suitable for daily use, and unfortunately, the price is quite steep Be cautious about applying it around the eyes - you never know what might happen. Always use a dedicated eye cream for the eye area - br******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 29, 2021
The scent isn't overpowering, but it's refreshing. I received this as a sample with my cleanser purchase. I'm still trying it out, so I can't say much yet. It's way too tingling... I came to check the reviews to see if others felt the same, and it seems I'm not alone. It feels like I've rubbed chili powder on my face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2021
While it doesn't dramatically improve your skin after just one use, you'll notice a significant reduction in dead skin cells after three or four applications Due to the AHA ingredients, it can be a bit irritating if you haven't used it in a while
