If you want to purchase the Etude Proof 10 Pencil, I strongly recommend you get it in the brown range. The black one tends to smudge.

Among Etude House pencil eyeliners, the brown one is quite good, but the black one smears. I've tried both. There must be differences in the formula for each color.

Over the years, I've tried eyeliners from various brands, and I've gathered my own 'big data' on them. Interestingly, the black color tends to smear a lot, while the brown color smears relatively less... But seeing that this feedback is common, it seems to be true to some extent.

If you really want to draw a bold black eyeliner, instead of a pencil type, I recommend choosing a gel liner or a liquid liner. Haha

It's a shame that the brand is Etude House.. That's why there's not much to nitpick about.

The gel pencil with a good price-to-performance ratio that applies smoothly and moderately softly has seemingly been unable to catch up with Etude House for over a decade.

It's drawn too thickly and tends to break easily. I was only able to use it about 10 times in actual use.

It doesn't wash off in water and is relatively inexpensive, so it's easy to purchase.
It's incredibly sharp - at least fifteen times sharper than in photos.

The liner has a sharpener on the back. You can use that to sharpen the tip whenever it becomes blunt!!!

There's nothing bad yet. If you accidentally apply too much to the mucous membrane, it may sting a bit? But that's the case with any liner... There are no disappointing points, so please don't discontinue it and keep producing it for a long time.

1) The ingredients are great. Black liners often contain talc, so I carefully searched and found this one.
2) It has good lasting power. When it meets oil, it can bleed a bit, but you can fix it well with powder/eyeshadow, etc.

It's a product I use occasionally, but it's fine every time I use it. It doesn't get hard or draw stiffly. I like the slim pencil, and I can draw pretty well without any difficult skills. I'll consider buying it 3,847,449 times if they release a brown matte version.

The thin pencil is great for detailed drawing and provides vibrant, crisp color payoff.

I also layered some eyeshadow over the eyeliner and set it all with a setting spray. As long as there's no major friction, it stays on really well that way.

The photo is from when I was reviewing the cleansing foam, and shows me wearing the vivid black eyeliner along with a deep brown eyeshadow.

It's waterproof but still wipes off fairly easily!
You'll need to apply it carefully to make it last - especially to avoid smudging around the dark circles!

+ For a color cosmetic, the formula is surprisingly gentle. I think this will become a staple for me.
+ Even though I have a warm skin tone, the black shade still suits me well! It applies so naturally.
+ No issues with breakouts!
+ It rinses off really well with my cleansing foam, which is important to me as I prefer products that remove makeup easily.

It has a slightly soft texture, so you shouldn't try to sharpen it too much, or it will break easily. It's quite fragile...

The eyeliner is too thick and it doesn't apply well on my eyelids compared to the back of my hand.

The price is affordable and there is almost no smudging, which is great!!

I would recommend this to those who want a bold, defined eye look, but for those who prefer a more natural look, I would suggest trying a brown-colored eyeliner instead of this product!!

This is a great product for beginners with eyeliner! Even with my clumsy hands, it was easy to fill in the lash line and draw a natural-looking wing. The lasting power is also great, so I'm definitely planning to repurchase!
