Naturally brightens and evens skin tone with a sheer application, perfect for a natural makeup look Disappointing lack of coverage. The built-in puff is unique but too powdery for my taste - g8********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2020
It seems pretty decent overall. The staying power isn't bad either. Given the higher price point, it might be worth considering other cushion foundations in this range. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 30, 2020
Beautiful case... High coverage for a Chanel cushion... I definitely tested it at the store before buying, but whether it was because of the store lighting or because I got confused while testing both this and the Les Beiges cushion I bought together, I deeply regretted it when I got home... The yellow undertone goes beyond just being yellow-based - it's like I have jaundice... It's such an expensive cushion, and I really don't know what to do with it... I'm using the Les Beiges successfully enough to buy refills, but... For Chanel, it seems the rosy or pink bases are always better. Also, I found online that shade 12 is supposedly the lightest color. If not, make sure to test it thoroughly and take the lighting into account. Note: While I'm selecting 'no' for recommending this product to users on Hwahae, it's not that I don't recommend this cushion - I just don't recommend this particular shade. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 26, 2020
The Chanel cushion foundation has an amazing puff and fragrance. The product itself is moisturizing and easy to apply lightly. This product gives a slight glow, so it has a nice luminous finish. It's perfect for gently patting on for a light application. The coverage is the most disappointing aspect. I wish it had a bit more coverage. If you don't already have good skin, you'll need to use a concealer with this. Days when I use the Chanel cushion are my light makeup days. I start with a hydrating base, then apply a thin layer of the cushion, and enhance the glow with a highlighter. Even if some blemishes show through, this application method looks truly beautiful. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinOct 14, 2019
I was amazed at how smoothly it applied, like silk, without any pilling. However, as I continued using it, I kept getting blemishes, and my daughter said her skin felt congested. I'll need to be more thorough with my cleansing routine. - ml*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinSep 29, 2019
I received this as a gift and it's absolutely gorgeous!!! The case is... oh, just the case... I'm giving it an extra star just for how beautiful the case is, honestly! Oh no! It's causing blemishes! I got it as a gift, so I'm not upset about the money, but it's such a shame about the beautiful case. I wanted to carry it around and use it outside, but since it's causing blemishes, it's too bulky to just carry as a mirror. I only take it with me occasionally when I have a big bag, along with my usual cushion and this one. It's so pretty that as soon as I got it, I tried it on in the evening to test how it feels. It applies with a cooling effect and has a nice, firm texture! I prefer pink bases, and while it looked dark and yellowish at first glance, when I applied it to my face, it went on with a surprisingly bright ivory tone that looked great! It felt moisturizing yet lightweight, with decent coverage, and after a while, it set to a soft, powdery finish. I thought, 'Oh, this is exactly my style!' There was no itching or burning sensation after applying it, so I thought it would be fine. I washed my face and used it the next day when I went out, but... Whoa! My skin type is between oily and normal, but my face became increasingly dry throughout the day. It started to flake and there was a major dead skin cells party going on. My skin usually doesn't flake even when I'm having an oil explosion with base makeup, except... oh, it did flake a bit with Hera too. Come to think of it, my skin tends to flake or have dead skin issues especially when I use products that don't agree with me and cause blemishes! Anyway, I was shocked when I got home and saw the dead skin party, so I quickly washed my face, but oh no! A blemish party too?! Tiny bumps and almost-pustular blemishes appeared all over. I thought maybe something else went wrong that day, and I couldn't give up on this product! So I tried again the next day, but it started flaking as soon as I applied it. I tried my best to moisturize well, wipe my face once with a cotton pad, and then reapply, but sure enough, more dead skin and blemishes galore. I finally had to give up. After that, I wondered if it might be the puff causing the issue, so I tried applying it with a sponge, but it didn't make any difference. It's so pretty... For those with sensitive skin, if it doesn't work for you, just carry it around for show! It would be such a waste to leave this beautiful case at home, wouldn't it? - ji*******Combination SkinRecommendedSep 16, 2019
First off, it has a subtle pink base that gives a beautiful color payoff. While I can't say the staying power is extraordinary, it's satisfactory. What's particularly impressive is how it wears off - it doesn't break down in an oily way. It looks even more beautiful when you touch up. The downside is the price and quantity. Compared to other cushions, it feels like you're getting less product. Of course, I'd need to check the actual volume to be sure. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 2, 2019
I bought this new cushion foundation with high expectations. The case design was so pretty that I decided to purchase it after a quick test. Unfortunately, the shade is darker than my natural complexion. It also tends to oxidize and darken over time, and leaves my skin feeling dry. The only positive aspect I can really mention is the attractive case design. - mj******Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessApr 6, 2019
The cooling effect is refreshing, and it provides a semi-matte finish while keeping skin hydrated. The adherence is decent for a cushion foundation, and the coverage is quite good. However, the shade... The color is the main issue. It's yellowish, not beige. No matter what I do - tone-up base, illuminating primer, pink base - nothing works. Sigh... There's also a slight, very slight darkening when the makeup breaks down. As time passes, it becomes extremely drying. Those with dry skin will find their dead skin cells horribly accentuated. And the case's opening angle... it feels like it's only half-open. Who decided to make it open just this much? No pro tips here, just go for shade 12.
