The Chanel foundation seems to excel in certain functional aspects I had high hopes because it's Sublimage, but it's just a moisturizing Ultra Le Teint. I used a sample, but it's so expensive that I'll probably only use it when I get samples - do*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMar 18, 2025
I've been using this for over a year, and it's become my holy grail. It's great for cool undertones in shades 17-21. I personally use shade 12 Rosy. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, and the moisturizing formula is perfect for dry skin. It surprisingly has decent coverage, hiding small blemishes even without concealer. When it fades, it does so gracefully. The downside is the price point... it's quite steep, so I can't use it as often as I'd like. The scent, while pleasant with Chanel's signature peachy fragrance, can trigger headaches when I'm not feeling my best. - yo***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 22, 2023
As someone with oily skin, my makeup used to break down quickly. But this product keeps everything in place the best, so I've been using it consistently. The price is a bit jaw-dropping, and since it's not in a pump bottle, it can be inconvenient to dispense and use. - na*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2023
It's incredibly moisturizing. Even though I tend to get dry, flaky skin with most dewy foundations, this one applies smoothly and lightly without any oily residue. The price is a bit jaw-dropping... However, I'm definitely going to make this my go-to foundation for the future. - op********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 4, 2022
You can apply it with your fingers, and it's nicely hydrating. I love this foundation because it's not thick. It's great for mixing with other foundations. Some people say it doesn't transfer to masks, but when I wear a mask, it transfers a lot and the foundation gets scratched, leaving marks. On the bright side, it's easy to touch up. I mix it half-and-half with Ultra Le Teint, which gives great staying power and a beautiful complexion. - eu*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 8, 2022
If you're looking for a moisturizing cream foundation, I'd recommend this product without hesitation! It has a texture like soft whipped cream, and the hydration lasts so long that even in winter, it doesn't show dead skin cells or make your skin look dry. That's why I use it often as my winter go-to. If you skip the powder, it gives you a luxurious glow. While I'm satisfied with the product's performance, I wish it came in a slightly lighter shade. - ts******Dry SkinRecommendedApr 26, 2021
It feels like I'm applying a nourishing cream rather than foundation. There's a rich texture, but it's not greasy. With a dry puff, one dab on the face and a mask on, there's hardly any transfer. I have dry skin and recently became conscious of my pores around the cheeks. I usually avoid very hydrating formulas as they seem to emphasize pores, but I'm satisfied with the pore coverage here. After using matte foundations due to masks, I wanted something more hydrating but not too dewy. This is just right. I disliked the dryness of matte foundations and thought covering pores would be enough, but this foundation allows for both a smooth finish and a radiant look depending on how you apply it. I bought BR12 as it was said to be the lightest shade at the department store, but there's a shade 10 available. I don't think there'd be much difference between Beige 10 and Rose 12. I have fair skin with a slightly yellow undertone, so I'm not dissatisfied with choosing a pink base, but the foundation itself isn't very light. It doesn't brighten my complexion, it just refines and cleanses my skin texture. I doubt it has much blemish coverage. And the price... if it were a bit cheaper, I'd buy it regularly. While I'm satisfied, I'd hesitate to repurchase at this price point. It applies well on any skin type, whether it's rich or bare-faced. It just makes my skin look naturally good. When I want to fake good skin, I prefer this over the Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint foundation.
